This is a little late, we stayed in January 2026: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Serenity in the City to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and I can wholeheartedly say it was a remarkable experience! The apartment we stayed in was stunning; it felt truly luxurious, with elegant decor and all the amenities we could have hoped for. Joe and her husband were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we made contact. Their warm hospitality significantly enhanced our stay, and we appreciated every moment. The only regret we had was not booking an extra night to soak in more of the beauty and tranquility the apartment offered. We will definitely be returning Highly recommended! Jay & gem x

Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful apartment so close to the centre but in a really quiet area. We stayed for a week and didn’t use the car once. Perfect location. Handy to have a parking spot. The apartment was clean and spacious and fully equipped. Would recommend.

Everything expected and more for a short break in York. Wonderfully appointed location, few minutes walking and ypu are in the heart of historic York. Serenity Inn the City matched tge description and photographs posted, excellent communication from the owner.

Excellent location easy walking distance into the city centre. The apartment is appointed to a very high standand and has free parking.
