The room and the food was very nice and the staff was friendly. The pool-area need improvement, and I think the place need cosy sites both out in the garden area and in the restaurant. Places, where we could sit and talk or read.

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful landscaping - lush, many birds. Food was ver good. Nice lounge with cozy fireplace.

The room or lodge we stayed in was set in a beautiful garden...an oasis for the surrounding area. Ideal location for a trip to the Ngorongoro crater. Although the lodge was clean and comfortable it was a little basic, but charming none the less. The only real negative was that the porch area needed to be seen to...the wooden boards were a little loose underfoot. The hotel itself..again beautiful gardens and landscaping, there was a pool on site too (although we didn't have time to use it)and a fabulous well stocked bar. The staff were fantastic, attentive, helpful and friendly, infact hospitality was first rate, made the stay. The food was excellent, packed lunch was provided for our day trip and on our return they were waiting with refreshments... excellent service all round. Would definitely stay here again.

THE pool was Nice and clean. Staff was friendly but to communicate was hard because of the poor understanding of englisch. The rooms were clean but the walls were not fully covert so small animals/bugs can come in. There is a klamboo. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, eggs and pancakes. It s a good option if you don t want to spent to much money and want to be close to THE entrance of THE ngorogoro Crater. Thats 25 min drive to the gate and 45 min -1 hour to get to THE descending road of THE Crater!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were looking for a place to buy some groceries and they escorted us there so we didn't get lost. The food was awesome. The bed was very comfortable. We had a great nights sleep.

We were looking for a moderately priced hotel which was located within close driving distance to Ngorongoro Crater and Manyara National Park, and this lodge met our requirements. The drive to it on local streets made us a bit worried about the standard, but it was very acceptable and the gardens were lovely. We had hired a driver for our safari visits and he found his own lodgings nearby (there were many offerings to suit African local taste) which enabled him to pick us up easily each day at the lodge and take us to the parks. Our price included breakfast, dinner and a take out lunch box (we could choose our own ingredients) and the food was good.

Die Unterkunft ist erstaunlich günstig, gemessen an den Preisen der umliegenden Lodges. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach, aber recht sauber. Das Essen ist OK, allerdings vergleichsweise teuer - besonders die Lunchpakete haben ein denkbar schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Service und der Gesamteindruck ließen doch arg zu wünschen übrig. Auch ansonsten günstige Unterkünfte sollten ein engagierteres und professionelleres Management haben, als wir es hier erlebt haben.

Lovely lush tropical gardens and clean rooms. They packed a good lunch for us. We relaxed at the octagon Irish bar in the evening after spending a spectacular day at the Ngorogoro crater.

A good hotel, bad access road ( as with most in the country), bungalows situated in a superb botanical garden. We were greeted every day at the gate with fresh juice and warm towels, and returning from the dust and heat of a safari, this puts a smile onto your face. Very good food, nice and easygoing staff. Very good security. All in one - a good choice. Highly recommended.
