We arrived quite a few hours before the check in time, staff were friendly and offered to let us leave our bags in the office until the room was ready, they called once everything was ready for us. On entering the room it absolutely stunk of smoke, as if someone had just finished a cigarette 5 minutes ago in there. This was disappointing as we do not smoke and pick none smoking places to stay because of this. Nothing was done to rectify this, the person that took us to the room just said sometimes people smoke even though it’s none smoking and they can’t do anything about it. Barring the smell, the room was very clean and well kept, everything you need for a city break. I really wouldn’t fault it other than the smell in the room, it lasted for about 3 days with the windows open.
