tavern services wasnt really good.

Services and cleanliness were great. Perhaps some art work on the walls of those interior pool rooms would brighten them up.

Our stay at Canad Inns Portage la Prairie had some enjoyable moments, but several issues made the experience far less smooth than it should have been. Check‑In: Check‑in was supposed to be guaranteed at 4 PM according to their website, yet we still had to wait almost an hour because the room wasn’t ready. When I asked the front desk for an estimated time, she couldn’t give one. With staff using radios, you’d think getting an update from housekeeping would be simple, but that didn’t happen. Room Amenities: For a family, the in‑room supplies were very limited. Only two creamers for the coffee, and the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were barely enough for one person, let alone multiple guests. It felt like everything was rationed. Pool Area: This was the most frustrating part. There were no towels available, and the phone in the pool area didn’t work to call the front desk. I even tried calling from my mobile, but the call was hung up on. A maintenance staff member said he would bring towels, but after waiting an hour, he never returned. This happened at night, which made it even more inconvenient. Despite these issues, we still tried to enjoy our stay, but the number of service problems definitely took away from the experience. Canad Inns can do better, especially when they advertise certain standards that aren’t being met.

It has all you could need; restaurants, pool, and entertainment (arm wrestling, archery, curling, VLTs) and all within the building.

Typical mediocre Canadinns experience. Things are ok but just that. Long wait to check in, zero hospitality. Over priced for a dated hotel with no amenities.

the room was clean . the meals were great . it was quiet so we had a great sleep . i would recomend it to anyone

The room we booked was a queen with a pull out couch (for the kids). The bed was a double and the pull out was broken so four of us had to sleep in a double sized bed! When we brought up the broken things in the room, at check out, the list included the pull out, as well as the pool access room did not work when returning to the room, the lock on that door did not lock from inside, and the fan in the bathroom didn’t work. We were told those things were all on the maintenance list and that room shouldn’t have been occupied but that they were fully booked so they used it. Which I find rather unacceptable. The pool was busy but fun, however the carpeted balcony leading to the pool was disgusting my guess it was not ever cleaned and should be linoleum or tile but not carpet. Upon checkout I let the front desk know that in-front of the desk on the floor it appeared to be blood on the floor and was informed that a child dropped a candy apple “yesterday morning” why it was still not cleaned made me question how clean our rooms really were. I expected more from this hotel chain and price point.

For the money, Not so bad. Wish there were better hotels in the area.. No coffee in the morning was a let down. What wrong with setting up a coffee center. Those doors to get into the building are not helpful when it comes to pulling n a suitcase rack

Room was old and dated without even a picture hanging on the wall or a complimentary bottle of water in the fridge. The queen sized beds were the smallest queens we’ve seen, more like doubles. Definitely expected a bit more for the price.

As always, the room was clean, the staff was friendly, the parking was convenient, and even though I do not have a pet, the pets present in the hotel were very well behaved.

The pool is small and dirty. It was also contaminated with too much chlorine, which caused kids to get sick. People are drinking alcohol in the pool area and partying in the hallways. Room was too small and dirty barely fit two queen beds. For the cost of the room was not worth it.

Location was perfect. Nice pool and waterslide.
