Great stay

My stay was okay, but this isn’t a true 5-star property. It’s more like a 3-4 star hotel, with no luxury amenities or special services you’d expect at a higher-end place. The rooms and public spaces show noticeable wear and could use a refresh. The hotel shares the property with a residence, so some areas are off-limits, and the pool is shared too. The pool area wasn’t well maintained, with leftover food and drinks around. On the plus side, the room was comfortable, and the TV had streaming. However, the walls are very thin, and noise from the halls kept me up, especially with a group of guests coming and going all night. The area around the hotel also wasn’t very clean, with quite a bit of trash and a large homeless presence nearby. Overall, it’s a decent stay if you expect a solid 3-star experience, but it doesn’t match a 5-star listing.

For this to be a 5-star hotel, they fell short in some areas. The shower and bed hair random hair strands. The shower wasn't fully clean. The floors in the bathroom were also very dirty. They charge a daily hotel fee. The lobby was beautiful. Walking distance to restaurants.

We expected much more from an expensive 5-star hotel. Instead, we got a small room with a broken coffee machine, vents blowing directly onto the bed, hidden charges everywhere, and unresponsive, indifferent staff. Really disappointed—especially coming from Hyatt.

The stay was awful for the price of this hotel the place just felt dirty in general. However the real issue is the general area around this hotel it is loud they provide ear plugs but they do nothing. I didn’t sleep at all and we just left as soon as we could. The area around this hotel is constant car racing street take over and the occasional gunshot.

Not clean not many amenities

We stayed here for the night of our wedding. The staff couldn’t have made the check in more seamless and convenient and relaxing after our big day.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we were met with so much respect, care and love from every member of the staff. Jade was especially helpful at the front desk, and made our stay seamless. The valet professionals were very kind and welcoming. The food was delicious, the pool was clean and nice, the room was comfortable and unique. We just had the best time! Thank you x 10000000 !! We will be back :)

Everything but the bed was great. Guarantee there were bed bugs. Woke up every day with new bites on my body/face. Didn’t even think about it til the last night what was likely happening. That part was a bummer since I liked the property and amenities.

The hotel offered a convenient location for our stay, and the staff demonstrated a high level of courtesy and professionalism, particularly the valet and room service teams. The valets were not only friendly but also provided helpful local recommendations. Room service was consistently prompt, discreet, and accommodating. While dining options were excellent in quality, the selection was somewhat limited. The property itself, however, appears to be in need of renovation. In our room, we observed visible mold in the bathroom and exposed floor cracks along the wall. Additionally, slippers were not available due to a reported shortage, which was disappointing given the floor’s lack of cleanliness. The pool area also showed signs of wear and would benefit from modernization—especially when compared to more contemporary offerings such as the Swexan. On a positive note, the gym exceeded expectations in both size and equipment variety. Overall, the hotel remains competitive among the area’s premier properties, but it does not currently meet five-star standards.

Excellent and beautiful hotel, unfortunately terrible location in the center of Dallas with too much congestion, slow valets, noise at night and too many vagrants. I do love the chain however I will continue to stay at Thompson properties.

Great dinning options and lounge bar

Amazing stay! Wish we were given a higher floor but the views were still good. Skyline suite was amazing, bathroom was great, bathtub against the window was top notch, bed was comfy, staff and valet were superb, in building dining options were one of the highlights of our trip. In room bar was excellent. Some well placed mirrors around the room made our time in the room more enjoyable :)

Amazing staff! Great property. Loved the wine decanter. Nice touch.

Beautiful property. Suite was spacious and beautifully designed. Pool was very pleasant and the food and bar service was amazing. Marina was a pleasure as usual and made our pool lunch very special.

The hotel was dirty hair everywhere and no clean towels I will need a part refund

Hotel is excellent. Sadly the street out front North Akard is like a drag strip for hot rod high performance cars revving engines and super noisy all hours of the night. Very noisy neighborhood. Great hotel. I slept very little over 3 night stay. Shame.
