I’ve been traveling every year for the past 35 years. My daughter, biggest fear being spiders, saw over 10 live spiders and their webs. The sofa had holes left from cigarettes. The linens were stained and dirty. Paintings and light fixtures looked as though they have not been cleaned for years. For the safety of my family, I did something that I have never had to do before in my life, and that was to leave a pre-booked apartment. Disgusting, terrifying, and a health issue is the way that I could best describe the booking I had.

This apartment would get a higher review if the management was not so meticulous about dirty apartment. There is an extensive list of items they will charge you for such as leaving air conditioning on while the apartment is vacant, and being charged for dirty sheets. We contacted the property management about the air conditioning because we did not see any and received a short response like “please refer to the house manual”, which has no information. The apartment doesn’t not have AC. Additionally several sheets were stained with coffee. Cigarette burns in the couch, used nail clippers in the shower, cracks/holes in the ceilings and several bugs. There is a washing machine but no detergent, coffee machine but no coffee and no paper towels. If this place was more adequately set up and had kinder staff it would have been a much more pleasant stay.

Tiny bathroom. No tea towels, hand towels, sharp kitchen knife, limited kitchen utensils. Ironing board small and broken.
