My colleague attempted to use the luggage locker machine during checkout following a room change under a new reservation. Instead of generating the standard 6-digit numerical PIN required to open the locker, the terminal issued an invalid alphabetical code on both attempts. As a result, we were unable to access the locker.
Despite the service not being provided due to this apparent system malfunction, my colleague was charged €10 twice, for a total of €20.
I have already contacted the hotel, and they said its not their responsibility since the locker is owned by other company.
It is not acceptable to be charged for a service that could not be used due to wrong PIN code
