This is a nice place, but really a large and rather impersonal hotel. Not my choice for a mountain trip. Too big and dining room was loud.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Engleberg so worth the detour we took to go there. The staff was excellent with the most note worthy service being provided by Freya and Lazio. We stayed in the Epoque room which was one of the loveliest beautifully appointed rooms with rounded windows but modern Scandinavian style furniture and a gorgeous up to date bathroom! And the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this property.

From the moment we arrived at Kempinski Palace Engelberg, we were completely enchanted. The hotel is the perfect blend of Swiss alpine charm and world-class luxury. Every detail — from the breathtaking mountain views to the elegant interiors — speaks of thoughtful design and impeccable hospitality. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. The concierge and front desk went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and offered stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and every evening felt like a retreat into calm and comfort. The rooftop infinity pool and spa were a highlight — simply magical. Soaking in the heated pool while gazing at the snow-capped peaks is an unforgettable experience. The breakfast buffet was another star of the stay: rich, varied, and full of fresh and local ingredients. The dining options were also superb, with a refined menu and elegant ambiance. The Kempinski Palace is a world class resort in the small charming town of Engelberg at Mt Titlis. The staff are amazing professionals. The food is excellent. The spa on the top of the hotel is as nice as I have ever seen. We loved our time there and will return to stay even longer.
