Cooking facilities are in great condition. About 10-minutewalk to old town. Supermarket is near so can easily buy and cook meal. Employees are really kind and mindful. Beddings are clean and well managed.

The City Yard Inn is a high quality budget hotel. The hotel is quiet and very clean and the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel is a short walk to the port terminals if you are arriving or departing by ferry. And that whole waterfront district has been nicely developed with a lot of bars, restaurants, and shops. There are also several malls that are only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Most importantly, the historic Tallin Old Town is only a short walk from the hotel. And lastly, areas along the waterfront near the City Yard Inn are excellent for biking or jogging. The City Yard Inn is a good hotel, in a great location for a good price.

This is a clean comfortable Hotel. The reception staff were cordial and very helpful. Although the room was very compact, we appreciated having a kitchenette. Also, access to a washer and dryer was very helpful. It would have been helpful to have written instructions on how to operate them. A definite drawback is the presence of 3-4 steps in 2 places on the way to our room on the first floor making it difficult to navigate with heavy luggage. The location, just outside the old town yet quite close to the ferry terminals was ideal.

Immer wieder gerne im City Yard Inn. Einfach nicht vergessen, dass dies ein Hotel ohne grosse Annehmlichkeiten ist, dafür aber preiswert. In den Jahren die ich hier gewesen bin, wurde ich immer freundlich empfangen, die Zimmer waren sauber und in einem guten Zustand! Gut an den öffentlichen Verkehr angebungen und sehr nahe zu diversen interessanten Gegenden der Stadt. Die Altstadt ist z.B. in 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar!

5 minutes walking from the old town and 10 minutes walking to the Ferry. Personal nice and helpful.

Close to harbour and old city centre (both within 10mins in walk). Easy access to public transport. Clean hotel room with a kitchen that includes fridge+microwave+small stove. Don't expect some special views from your window. Reception was helpful and spoke good English. Check-in after opening hours was easy with the instructions that you get.
