Found hair all over the bathroom

Retro motel, good location.

Staff was extremely accomodating!!! Rooms were large and the pool was fantastic!

Service could be better but overall we are happy with our stay and will be back.

The best pool! Was clean and quiet

Shower water temperature was extremely hot suddenly. One of my family got red skin due to extreme hot water. We told the problem and they had never fixed next 3 days. Room was so dusty as you can see picture air conditioners is covered dust. Floor was so dirty I got a foot infection on my feet. We stayed before the pandemic, they were sparkling clean that time. Now they are going downhill due to new management company. Manager was “smoking” near the pool

Location

We try to make Penticton once a year. The Bowmont is our go to motel if it’s available. Proximity to canal, lake, loco landing and restaurants is amazing. Room kitchenette was adequate and stocked with what you need. A bit noisy in the pool area with lots of kids but the week days are great!! Cheers

I booked a one bedroom suite for myself and two girlfriends. Good unit as each of us had a bed. Full kitchen. 2 minute walk to beach. We were on the quiet side of the motel. Motel is like the other motels around. Dated and maybe in need of an update. Honestly the most comfortable bed I have slept in. The pool area was very busy so didn't use it. The check in was quick and done over the phone which I liked. The unit definitely was what we needed as a home base for our self guided wine tour. We will definitely stay here again. Price, location, and amenities make it a return.

Excellently maintained suite that was perfect for my family. The room had everything we needed. It is no frills and obviously a retro motel, but outstanding for the price. The courtyard, pool, BBQ area, and patios were perfect. It far exceeded my expectations and I will definitely stay here again.

Great pool and courtyard space - amazing for bbq and hanging out here. Very close to the beach! Rooms were quite basic but beds were comfy.

Very clean rooms, cute decor and quiet location. It’s an older motel but well taken care of. Pool was closed for maintenance which was a bit of a disappointment but opened again later in the evening so they were on it. Good value for money for sure

I like the common BBQ area and pool area.

no onsite manager. A large school group came in and took over the place. They were semi out of control. Chaperones were useless. The room needed a proper vacuum. The kitchen had very few tools (no bread knife). Rooms are beat up and the faucets leak. Welcome to an old Penticton motel.

Location

Property was clean but is quite dated.

Our room was non-smoking but it had obviously been smoked in previously to the point where the air was pretty gross. The deadbolt to our door didn't work, and the walls are so thin you can hear everything going on outside and in adjacent rooms. We booked this place partially because it had a hot tub, but it was out of service. We spent 30 minutes here before finding a different hotel to stay at. It was worth losing the $70 on this room to not have to spend the night here.

Excellent feel like home

Upon arrival, staff didn't have our room ready. Then once they "cleaned it" " banged it out in 15 minutes according to the owner" I want a room I know was cleaned properly and taken care of. Definitely not the feeling here. The manager sent me a bottle of wine. I don't drink but nice enough. They need to update there facility. They can keep the " retro vibes" but still update and take care of the rooms. Oh I've also been staying here for peachfest the last 13 years. The last few years with the new owners has fallen down. Will be my last visit.

The room was not clean. I don’t think they cleaned or washed the floors in the last year or more. My feet were black after walking around barefoot. The sheets and towels were clean although one towel had a large hole in it. This place needs to do a better cleaning job. The place is old but that’s no excuse to be dirty. The location and pool were good.
