요세미티 관광이 지연되어 숙소에 새벽2시에 도착했는데도 친절한 안내와 다음날 일정 등을 자세히 알려주어 좋았다. 비록 다음날 비가와서 17마일 일정이 순조롭지 않았지만 근처 관광지 등을 안내해 주어 시간 소비 없이 유익한 시간을 보내는데 도움이 되었다

Even though it is old not bad as much as I expected, but little bit cold and some noise caused by the fan was hard to make good sleep.

Peaceful location. Easy walking distance to the coastline beaches & lookouts. The Pacific Grove path through the dunes is great. Easy parking. The bed linens are subpar - skimpy thin blankets & a very slippery bedspread. Towels are great. Caution: there is a fun casual restaurant Lucy's across the street - hot dogs any way you want! But there is music over speakers outside & & sometimes a live band outside. They close at 7pm so not disruptive.

Clean, comfortable well located hotel. The breakfast was good, Eggs, fruit, yogurt, croissants, milk, OJ and good coffee. They had instant oatmeal, would have liked plain instead of only the sugary ones and dry cereal would’ve been a good option. Otherwise the breakfast was good. We would stay again.

We had a last minute cancellation for other accommodations for a week in Pacific Grove. Monarch was able to accommodate us for a week. We definitely like the suite with the separate bedroom. The front staff was so helpful and pleasant! Easy to walk into PG for shopping and meals. Ocean is very walkable! Will stay here again!

Nice place. Clean, comfortable, mostly quiet. Some kid was playing in the pool at around 7:30 in the morning. But that's more the parents fault for not keeping their kids volume at a reasonable level. But also, kids are kids. It's fine.

I was blown away when I saw the size of the rooms. Heated pool and spa was really nice too!

I really enjoyed my stay, the front desk was very friendly, they offered breakfast not a lot of places do, the hotel close to everything.

My friend and I had a delightful stay at Monarch Resort. Our room was comfortable and clean. I loved the fireplace in the room with the Duraflame fire log. They gave us a log for each night. The hot tub was hot and clean. The complementary breakfast was awesome: fresh croissants and muffins, boiled eggs and fruit, hot coffee and tea. The greenery and dolphin statues inside the hotel added to its charm. We will be coming back.

We enjoyed our stay, if you stay near the pool it can be loud if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing. The pool closes at 9 but people were still there pretty loud until 9:45. Otherwise it was a nice place with very friendly staff.

It's fine in general, but what I didn't like in my own experience is that the guests next door were making a lot of noise and there was a very strong smell of mariguana from their balcony. I had to close my balcony because the smell came in. From then on, everything was fine. They had breakfast, everything was clean.

It was very clean, close to downtown.

We liked our room and it's cleanliness. The staff was attentive. Unfortunately, one of the mattresses in our room was very uncomfortable. We had to sleep on the opposite side of the bed in order to get some sleep.

Close to the ocean, nice and clean

Quiet neighborhood, parking was close to the door. Had an elevator, which many other hotels nearby did not. Hot tub and sauna felt good after walking all day. Near the lighthouse, aquarium and restaurants. Fresh squeezed orange juice and continental breakfast of muffins, bagels, boiled eggs, instant oatmeal, etc. Refrigerator and microwave in room.

Rude front desk: here, sign this. What am I signing? Read it! Rez was 2 people/4 days. One bath towel was all we had! Unacceptable! Continental breakfast was a sugar/carbo explosion 💥 Yogurt was all flavored (sugar)Oatmeal was flavored (sugar). Baked products were all white flour! Where’s the Greek yogurt or whole wheat/whole grain bread? The only protein was cold/super dry hard boiled eggs. Inedible! The room and bedding reeked of soot from the ancient fireplace. Our hair and clothes began smelling like we had been at a campfire. Unhealthy and uninhabitable The TV offered no option to download an app. The channels were limited and the picture was fuzzy- Unwatchable! The Wi-Fi only offered 1 bar of service. Could not make a phone call from our room! We left a day early. Waste of time/Waste of money! How does this qualify as a recommended 8.2 property? No way!

Location was good. Service was pleasant.

We stayed here for a nights. The only issue we had was the mattress springs seemed to have had it. We did sleep but the bed wasn't that great. Staff very helpful and polite.
