Best location in Matera

Excellent location and beautiful modern rooms. Good communication. From the hotel location you can walk without stairs all the way to Piazza San Pietro Caveoso.

If you have a carcthe parkinf situationnisvpretty terrible & GPS doesn’t tell you it’s on a pedestrian street. Can only unload your luggag 2-4 pm without dragging from a parking garage seversl blocks away( which btw costs 50 euros per night). That said, good location, not the best breakfast we had…. Run by a young staff, coukd use some maturity in that arena.

Very well located, in the center área, cars not allowed but paid parking is within walking distance. Friendly staff and city is a must see. Different from everything I have ever seen.

Optimal location if you want to be close to the confines of the ZTL if arriving by car. Parking is tricky but we were lucky to find free street parking a few minutes away. this was by far the best option to be close to the Sassi but also easy to access the main roads leaving Matera. We were very happy with our stay. There was a private event for 2 nights so we were not able to enjoy the Terrace in the evening - but we had dinner elsewhere so it was ok. They were kind to give us a welcome drink :)

arrivée agréable, la personne à l'accueil nous a donné plein d'explications sur Matera, petit déjeuner complet sucré/salé, apéritivo avec verre offert sur le toit terrasse, mention au jeune barman qui était très sympa, à l'entrée de la ville historique, prévoir parking payant à 300m (demandez à l'hôtel)

The hotel reception was super friendly and gave us so many good recommendations to explore Matera. Had good wifi, the air conditioning worked GREAT! Highly recommend this hotel

Minha estadia no Palazzo della Fontana em Matera foi muito agradável. O estacionamento indicado pelo hotel foi ótimo, bem pertinho. A localização é excelente, permitindo que eu fizesse tudo a pé pela cidade. O hotel é novo e conta com um rooftop agradável. O café da manhã era bom. O quarto, embora simples, era confortável, com uma cama grande e era bem silencioso.
