Wow. You know the kind of place that is so good that you don't want to tell people? This is it. But at the same time, I want to do what I kind to support the hotel. This is small (6-room) hotel, which is a converted medieval church. The conversion was done with high-quality finishes (heavy hardware, modern bathroom, etc). You really feel like you've gone back in time, but with modern comforts. The highlight is the proprietor, Javier, who was endlessly helpful, patient and professional. Honestly, I feel we got more out of the deal than he did! I would highly recommend this hotel, it made our 2 nights in Cordoba VERY special.

This hotel is a true gem! It is an ancient Cordoba hermitage turned into a fantastic boutique hotel. Javier and his staff are excellent. The room was beautifully appointed. We would recommend it to all travelers seeking a unique experience in Cordoba!

Hotel incrível, bem localizado, roupas de cama e banho de primeira qualidade, atendimento especial, chuveiro excelente. Poderiam avaliar a possibilidade de servir o café da manhã no quarto já que não há espaço para um refeitório no hotel. Sem outras considerações. Excelente!!!

Nuestra experiencia en este bello hotel fue extraordinaria. Es un museo hotel. Todo estuvo bien,la habitación, la cama comodisima, pero lo que hace falta resaltar es la magnífica atención que nos dio el Sr. Javier. Nos explicó con mucho conocimiento y gusto lo que fue en sus inicios la propiedad ,muy amable y eficiente y muy educado. La ubicación es inmejorable! Fue un gusto hospedarse ahí y conocer al Sr.Javier.

The owner was there when we checked in , and explain the interesting historu of the hotel . In addition, he recommend many excellent restaurants and and high qualified tour guide . They were answering any question any time . I would recommend it 100%

A beautiful building with huge history and character. Wonderful suite and enjoyed the morning sun on the terrace. Very helpful staff. Couldn't have found a more perfect place to celebrate our milestone wedding anniversary.

The hospitality and service provided by Javier were one of the diferencial aspects of this excellent boutique hotel! The room was perfect. The decoration and also the history are amazing.

Exceptional.

This was the most beautiful suite, really close to the cathedral, clean comfortable beds and amenities. Restaurants everywhere so no need to worry about a hotel that doesn’t have a restaurant. Very special decor and architectural design.

Excelente servicio del personal, realmente amables, eficientes y preocupados de dar el mejor servicio. Pero el hotel tenía carencias claras: no tenía servicio de desayuno y no contaba con una habitación con dos camas, sino con una cama de campaña o plegable que no estaba a la altura de un 4 estrellas.

Without question the most charming hotel in Cordoba. The best location, charming architecture, the proprietor is the most helpful I’ve ever met in 30 years of staying in hotels. This is a great hotel.

The service of La Ermita Suites, the only Monument Hotel in Cordoba, is so personalized, it was the owner, Javier, who welcomed us when we arrived. We were there 24-26 Oct but they’ve been in touch with us since July when we booked it. According to Javier, the hotel has been open for a little more than two years, although the restoration from a church to a hotel, lasted about 17 years. It was very tastefully done, with the old features incorporated into the clean and modern interiors. It is situated in Plaza de Abades, 3 minutes walk to the Mezquita-Catedral and 4 minutes from the Puente Romano de Córdoba, right in the historic Centro. Our special thanks to Laura who guided us through everything since the start of our journey in July. We won’t be aware that Javier is the owner if not for her. There was one downside in that Suite 1, where we stayed had an air conditioning glitch so we were advised to open the window instead. Luckily, it was late October so it’s not as hot as the summer. There was the sound of merriment filtering through till around 2am, but not enough to dampen our stay. All in all, it had been a pleasure!

The room was beautiful—clean and comfortable. Its historical context made us feel like we were somewhere special. Especially the patio, which was relaxing after a day of walking. Javier and Ana were amazing. Javier in particular was willing to attend to every detail and gave us great recommendations to eat, It made us feel like we were staying with friends.
