A very enjoyable stay. A friendly bar and outside seating, very central for all amenities

Nice friendly place. Lovely food. My husband has the chicken burger and I had the chicken schnitzel. We should have had the small breakfast as the traditional one was huge.

Absolutely stunning hotel in a fabulous location, staff were incredibly friendly and food was out of this world. Will definitely use again. Thank you.

Want to start off by saying that Punch House is a lovely place, the pub was great, the food was delicious (and mega portions) and the staff were so friendly - Tash in particular. Unfortunately we didn’t get a great sleep, which is key at a hotel stay. The room was boiling hot and I expect this has been raised before as an old fan had been provided however this was the noisiest fan known to man. So it was a choice between hot or loud. Please get a more modern fan that runs a bit more effectively/quieter! Other than that though, good place. Decent if you’re staying in Monmouth. Probably absolutely fine in winter!

All of the staff are really welcoming and friendly. The food, evening meal was great. Breakfast was fine, no frills. We stayed right on the top floor which was a bit of a climb. The floor in our room was very uneven , which I guess is to be expected in a building the age. It would probably be worth mentioning if you find stairs difficult. The room was very warm.

This pub / Hotel is well frequented and ideally placed on the high street st the top of the toen. There is no carpatk associated, but at the rear is a public car park. Max 4 hour stay, pay between 08:0 -18:00 Mon-Sat. Sundays £1.40 all day. 08:00-10:00 free. Hotels.com asked me to review the breakfast. There is no breakfast on a Sunday mornings. Staff are wonderful and very welcoming. We had room 6 overlooking the square, very spacious and would book it again. All rooms are up a staircase and there is a separate door for late returns.

The landlady was so lovely and so willing to help. The breakfast was made to order, fresh and tasted good, along with being a very good price. My room was clean and well equipped with a clean bathroom.

The hotel is an Inn and it is clean with a lot of unusual features, hidden corners. The staff were all friendly and the beer was always cold and reasonably priced

Room was all ready for when we arrived, lovely large room looking out over the main street, beds was comfy and clean. Lady checking us in was really polite and helpful, didnt eat so not sure what the foods like.

Bloody hot rooms

The staff are wonderful. The room was big .. great bathroom and streaming services on the big tv. :). Lovely coffee n biscuits.

Lovely overnight stay, Tasha was so helpful, made me a cuppa and sorted a takeaway for us as we were late, would definitely stay again

Friendly staff

Extremely large and comfortable room. Staff were lovely and the whole place is very dog friendly. Would definitely recommend the Punch House.
