Weekend away in the New Forest. Perfect base, close to the forest and the beaches of the south coast. Comfortable hotel with great staff.

The hotel is very expensive for one night granted it has a hot tub but the cleanliness is not the best in the hot tub or in the room itself. I arrived late and left early and should have said something then. Cobwebs everywhere in the room and a dirty carpet and towels. No sugar or sweeteners provided either.

Great stay as on previous visits. Will absolutely using again

Some of the best food we have had eating out for a long time. Lovely private space with hot tub. Quiet and peaceful. Helpful and friendly staff. World definitely revisit

A lovely stay at The Three Lions, staff were friendly and helpful, food was amazing and the hot tub was so relaxing and private. We will be returning to The Three Lions again for sure, but next time for longer than just a night.

Lovely Hotel, great staff. Clean rooms and comfy bed

This was an amazing, beauitful stay we will be returning. Upon arrival we were kindly greeted and shown to our room. Very spacious, clean and private. The hot tub was so relaxing and easy to use, we were in there for hours. Breakfast very delicious with unlimited tea and coffee and worth the money. The singing chef kept us entertained. Also the food in the restaurant is top quality and worth the price. The pub is out the way of the hustle and bustle but only a 20 min walk from the town fordingbridge.

Very friendly staff. Lovely area. Rooms were separate from the main inn and so wonderful quiet. Highly recommend for a couple's retreat.

We had a lovely stay at the three lions. The staff were all amazing and left us a card and some chocolates for our anniversary, which was really sweet. The hot tub was warm and ready for us when we arrived. The only downside to this was there was no cover or canopy, and it was raining all evening so we didn’t get to enjoy this as much as possible. The food was amazing, and they have a few games at the pub which made for a fun evening. Unfortunately there is a light right outside the room that came on at some point during the night and woke me up around 2.30am, and made it very difficult to get back to sleep without a sleep mask. However, overall it was a very nice night away.

Staff was really friendly and helpful

Roast was beautiful. Breakfast was great. Stayed for my partners birthday in a hot tub room and it was absolutely gorgeous. Natalie greeted us and was efficient and happy. She’s a great first impression. All the staff were amazing. We will definitely be back again. R and r was just what we needed from two people who work 50+ hrs a week. It was an escape for a night that was well needed and well overdue. It didn’t disappoint. Thank you 😊

A lovely place to have a short break. Perfect location and ideal accommodation.

I booked the room with the hot tub and my partner and me really enjoyed the experience. The hotel is well looked after, very pretty an cosy, the room was impeccable and the staff friendly and they take care of the customers. We also had dinner and breakfast, the only possible bad thing I could say, and not really a bad thing is, that I didn't like the battered on the squids I ordered, but only being picky because the food was also very good. I was never before in this hotel but definitely will think about coming back because we had such a great time.

Fantastic stay. A little gem of a pub/hotel

A lovely stay at The Three Lions. Peaceful and a warm welcome on a chilly evening. The room was very comfortable and clean. Nice and plentiful options for hot drinks in room. Room had small balcony looking into court yard.

A very pleasant stay in a chalet type room which was comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was good although we weren’t offered any daily specials. The menu was big enough as we only stayed 2 nights.

Perfect. A hidden gem in the New Forest - peaceful & Serene. Room was plenty big enough for us & the private patio with hot tub was amazing !!! Have already booked to go again !!

We booked a room with private terrace and hot tub which were both amazing. Rooms were clean, the hot tub was great, we had our privacy and it was very quiet. Enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend!
