We loved our stay at the Americus Hotel! The 1927 Art Deco vibe is absolutely stunning and gives the whole place so much character and charm. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The restaurant was a highlight. Delicious food, beautifully presented, and very reasonably priced. Service throughout the hotel was friendly and helpful, from check-in to dinner. There was a bit of street noise and some weekend partying in nearby rooms, but it didn’t really bother us and felt in line with the downtown energy. All in all, a great experience... we will definitely stay again!

The hotel itself is great. Excellent location and spotless cleanliness (10/10). However, the front desk experience was disappointing, as the woman who greeted us had a noticeable attitude. While the bed was clean, the mattress was far too soft and uncomfortable. It felt like I was sinking into it. Another issue was the cleaning staff loudly knocking and shouting “room service” at 10 AM, despite check-out not being until noon. Also, the in-room coffee could really use an upgrade.

Facility was what to be expected for a renovated hotel, very basic and old. Main entrance was open and nicely painted. Staff were friendly. Biggest downfall was the newly opened nightclub downstairs and the sheer volume of base pounding throughout the walls! Started around 8pm and went to 1:30am. It was awful and we didn’t get any sleep. Would not recommend this site at all if club is open.

Hotel is renovated and very nice. Conveniently located to PPL Center. Staff at check-in and valet not friendly.

Great place to stay.

Too noisy for sleep, everything else was okay. I picked this hotel was because it is walkable to PPL center for a graduation.

Pro: conveniently located and the room is spacious Cons: the soundproofing is very poor and pretty old hotel I rented a 2 bedrooms suite but unfortunately was given a unit on the 1st floor. Because they installed a portable air conditioner to each room, the window was sealed with tape, resulting in zero sound insulation. There were many cars passed by and revving engines throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep. The check-in and out were easy.

A very cool hotel. Easy walk to the Music Hall. These people know how to make accomodations handicap accessible! Wide doorways, furniture arrangement, bathroom handrails and shower seat. The best we have ever had!

The hotel is beautiful. Service was amazing. Bed was super comfy. I’d recommend this hotel

The stay was good. The hotel needs help with staff. The standouts were Grant, Jaleel and Pascalle. They helped us and were great. Room service was non existent. We asked at the front desk when we would get it and they told us they were short handed and would get to us later. Never got to us in Room 513.

Historically the Hotel is great. Nice to see an almost 100 year old building is being kept up and clean. The hotel seemed to have a staff shortage and some of the staff members of the hotel were jumping through hoops to try to make our stay pleasurable. Some of the staff like Grant, Jaleel and Pascalle were GREAT. Grant always was there for our BIG group and attendend to all our needs in a friendly and professional manner. Pascalle was AMAZING and made our Mothers Day breakfast a pleasure. Grant wound up being our waiter and was AMAZING as well. The Doorman/ Valet Jaleel helped our whole party get our stuff in and out of the hotel with ease and professionalism. Housekeeping however was terrible.Asked at the front desk when housekeeping would be up and was assured they would be up later in the day but never came. All in all our party had a good time. If I'm in the area in the future I would stay here again. The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable.The hotel has a lot of cool stuff and restaurants right in walking distance.

Staff is very friendly and helpful! Especially Alexis at the front desk. There is A LOT of noise from hallways that you hear inside the room and the AC is not very powerful. Also, there is a lot of road noise even on a higher floor.

The room was much larger than i expected, and everything was nicely appointed. It was in a great location and i could walk to everything i needed. One negative: the bathtub was a step-in but no grab bars. Grab bars should be standard.
