Great location on the seafront - pack your swimmers for a quick dip. The rooms are clean, comfy and well appointed. Excellent shower in the room we had. The fresh milk on check in is a great touch. The team on check in and check out were very helpful and polite

If only they had a lift!! The stairs are steep and a problem trying to lug one’s suitcase to one’s room!

Photos look good on Expedia, hotel looks very different. We really had a bad experience. Booked one of the most expensive sea view rooms. Quite expensive. No cleaning service, no sitcom (it was hooottt), no elevator, no service. Staff quite rude. We asked why there was no room no room cleaning. The lady said „our fault“ as we did not put out a sign. It’s the opposite of all other hotels in the world. You need to indicate that you want service. „Do not disturb the other way around“. Nobody told us. The same lady did pretty nasty calls on the other staff with her boss and we had to listen sitting in the lobby. A no go. All on all the charged for some minutes for Late Check out 12 instead of 11 another 15 GBP. Which is in principle ok, if we hab not had such a lousy experience. Just don’t book it. Go elsewhere.

Very glad to book and stay at the Port hotel. Compared to the others in the area it was the only modern boutique style hotel which matches my personal taste. Improvements: more info on arrival wifi, breakfast times,maybe menu with prices. Is the bar open for drinks in evening etc. Local area, getting around etc. each floor level needs numbers and better signage overall. Cork might be great for winter but a little loud and sound proofing is needed(hear conversation outside door as clear as day). Todays climate AC is essential especially as windows limited. Didn’t want insects. Privacy screen on windows facing houses essential. Rooms compact but modern and neat which made stay much nicer! Hotels.com please provide hotel info after booking as I could only access the receipt. Nothing else provided - address telephone or room / amenities I booked etc.

早餐美味，房間尚算整潔，可惜偏细及沒有空調，我們房窗外也沒有景觀，沒有电梯，行李上房困難，泊車方便！有海灘景，職員冇禮！

Clean room with everything we needed friendly staff. Weekend checkout at 12 would be greatly appreciated though a few others in Eastbourne do it and it’s a perk I look for

Family rooms are in the basement - this is not made very clear on Expedia and the photos have certainly been enhanced to hide the lack of light... Service is okay - staff aren't really informed. The staff on the morning of checkout was short, verging on rude. Staff didn't even ask how our stay was; just said bye. Cleanliness is okay - pieces of pretzels on the floor near the window and dust in corners and under the bed. No shelves in the bathroom make it almost impossible to comfortably use as a family. Finally the family room layout was much more basic that the glossy pictures, no sofa or lovely seating area, a bed, a bunk and a small table. The differences in the rooms options should be made clearer online when booking. Wouldn't visit again; not worth the price at all.

Welcomed at check in and wished well at check out. Stunning room with bathtub and separate shower, knowledgable and engaging conversation with David at the bar.

This room was absolutely amazing , so clean and modern . I usually feel on edge in hotel but I felt so comfortable and slept all night as the bed was so comfy , amazing staff and lovely atmosphere. The bath is also amazing . Would definitely recommend easily the best hotel in Eastbourne:)

Lovely staff, very clean and lovely room. Breakfast was lovely and the coffee was fab.

David as always was fantastic and the hotel which has now become a firm favourite was on point. Mustn’t forget the great breakfast ‘healthy option chosen’ all though every option is great. Looking forward to my next visit

Sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer modern eingerichtet und sauber. Die nähere Umgebung nicht sehr einladend. Pier veraltet und verlassen. Haben aber den Tag genutzt um die Seven Sisters zu besichtigen, somit warenbwir auch kaum in der Ortschaft.
