Great hotel Cozy and unique. Loved it. Super close to attractions. Friendly and helpful staff

Murphy was hands down the best ever! He was so funny, so helpful and just sweet.

Loved everything about this hotel - amazing staff, great location and really cozy rooms!

This was the most unique hotel experience. They left a beautiful note for us. The room was small, but we focused on the experience of it and how uniquely decorated it was. We really enjoyed our time there and even the halls were an experience to walk through. The lobby was just perfect with its fun decor.

A stunning property. Totally unique in its style, design, decor and approach. A truly different experience and one to highly recommend. Already booked to stay again . The write ups are not inaccurate…. Decadence meets orient express !!!

The most amazing service we have ever received! Staff are amazing and go the extra mile for you, entertainment was fantastic, the decor and drinks were stunning and the breakfast hamper was delicious! Highly recommend upgrading to the treat me like I’m famous package. Not only was it mine and my partners joint birthday weekend, he also proposed! Thanks for making this the most special celebration ever! I can’t wait to come back for our anniversaries every year! This hotel have thought of everything down to the last detail, very special place to stay!

It was brilliant stay

The Hotel was clean but I was very disappointed with the size of the room. It was VERY small and felt very claustrophobic due to the dark decor and the small size of the room and the FAKE WINDOW! there was hardly any room to put our bags down on the floor. I feel like the price was expensive in comparison to the spacious rooms I am used to for that price.

Rommet var skikkelig kult, og hun som tok oss i mot var kjempehyggelig, men der slutter det positive. Det var ikke vindu på vårt rom, som resulterte i at det var veldig varmt og dårlig luft. Det var en aircondition (?) som sto midt i rommet, men selv med denne på full guffe var det veldig varmt. I tillegg var det veldig lite så vi hadde så vidt gåplass når vi la ned kofferten. Heldigvis hadde vi bare en koffert, for det hadde ikke vært plass til to. Rommet ble ikke vasket mens vi var der, når vaskepersonellet først kom var det lørdag ettermiddag og vi hadde kommet tilbake for å slappe av på rommet, så da takket vi nei. Det var heller ingen knagger på badet til å henge håndhåndkleet i. Vi prøvde også baren, men ingen av drinkene vi fikk falt i smak...

Unique, lavish decor, and a great cocktail bar. All facilities are top notch, and the whole place even smells great. Staff is very accommodating.

I loved the whole experience ,staff friendly and helpful

Room was beautiful it was so hot we couldn’t sleep all night. Sunday morning checkout was very early at 11am, contacted the reception next morning to say that the room was unbearably hot and could we have an extension on the check out and were told he’d but it would cost £30. Very disappointing as the concept of the hotel room is unique in Edinburgh but room is very small and temperature control made it unbearable.
