Loved that it was walking distance to restaurants but bit noisy with door open on vandra in holet to many car speeding pass

Close to dinner options, friendly staff. a park opposite for the kids to play and run around in. Great location and quiet!!

We stayed at The Sebel for 6 nights, while having a holiday in Canberra. The hotel is in a great spot, close to numerous restaurants and the lake. It is approx 2km out from the CBD. When we arrived, reception were absolutely lovely. My mum is disabled and uses a wheelchair for mobility support, and the Sebel did everything in their power to make her stay enjoyable. We booked two accessible rooms and were initially told theyd be next to each other. However upon arrival, we were told that each floor has one accessible room. Reception changed my room to a non accessible room on the same floor which solved this problem, and were apologetic for the confusion. The non accessible rooms are fantastic for the price. Ive stayed in some terrible hotels that cost more. The bed is memory foam and the pillows felt like duck fearther. There is a mini bar, fridge, washer and dryer (which is very easy to use and comples with complimentary washing liquid) and stove and microwave. The shower is huge! It was comfortable and perfect for a holiday. The accessible room was fantastic too - the bathroom was huge and the shower seat was really appreciated. We do have some suggestions for minor improvements to make accessibility easier: - The bed is higher than the seat of a wheelchair, making it hard for wheelchair users to safely transfer to the bed. - The door in B1 is a manual handle door. If this could be a automatic door (like reception has) it would be perfect. Thanks guys!!!

Un-manned after hours check in - which we werent told about DESPITE calling to let the place know. Parking had to be pre-booked (NOT mentioned) and UNABLE to utilized - due to the lift system (not mentioned) only for use of guests that have been trained by the staff..... oh wait - there is no staff after 8pm.....

The room is well equipped and situate in a quiet area

This property is close to ADFA which is why we booked here. It was also very close to the city centre and war memorial. Lots of dining options within walking distance

No balconies on units

Perfect accommodation for our young family. Great set up for 2 adults, 2 kids. Self contained, clean, quiet. Would stay here again.

We stayed in a large 2 bedroom apartment which was new and spotlessly clean. Great area, very quiet close to lake Burley Griffin and with lots of nice restaurants and cafes to choose from.

I didn’t like the hand basin tap broken, internet poor, tv kept dropping out, when booking they don’t say it costs to park under cover, would not stop there again.

Phone connected to Wifi OK but laptop with Windows 7 would not.

The TV doesn't tune into any channels or streaming.

All good

Great location with bus services at your door.
