Very clean, very peaceful place! Home-made bread for breakfast (still warm). The restaurant is good even if expensive but like all restaurants in Iceland. Only thing to know (it was not a problem for us but it is important for visitors to know) the bathroom was tiny and you’re better go to the toilet beige taking a shower because you will make the floor absolutely wet (just a curtain). We managed and was not a problem for us at all.

Calme, propre, vue agréable, produits du PDJ faits maison et excellents. Parking facile. Tout très bien. Alors pourquoi 3 étoiles ? Parce que chambre réservée annoncée à 40 m2 sur Hôtels .com mais avait une surface totale INCLUANT L'ENTREE ET LA SALLE DE DOUCHE de seulement 18m2 avec un agencement qui ne permet même pas d'ouvrir une valise moyenne sur le sol sauf à l'enjamber! Certaines chambres sont plus grandes certainement et c'est limite malhonnête !

The hotel is not fancy but it doesn't have to be. The chief/manager was so very kind and made me a packed lunch instead of the contineal breakfast. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Was a really special spot and one of the highlights of my trip.

Das Zimmer war klein aber fein, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat beim Check In einmal alles gezeigt. Der Hot Tub ist bereits vorgeheizt und 24/7 verfügbar. Das Frühstück konnte vor Ort ohne Probleme dazugebucht werden und war sehr lecker. Kann man auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

The stay we had was enjoyable. The dinner we had at the Hvonn Restaurant was memorable. I would recommend it as an experience not to be missed when in Iceland.

We could not been any happier with this hotel. It has matched our expectations. It has a beautiful setting and lovely staff. The grounds, especially the historic church, are well worth seeing. We enjoyed a dinner with local fish and lamb at the restaurant. The breakfast buffet included several options. We loved the beet juice served in small glasses.

Our stay was wonderful! The staff was very nice and accommodating. The place is clean and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub with a nice view of the countryside and the dinner and breakfast were delicious.

Nice location next to a small church. Breakfast was one day worth "8", the other day only "6'. We had dinner in the hotel the first night, but there are better options around.

It is in an area where many attractions are easily accessible. The hotel was quiet and relaxing.

Nice and clean. Rooms average size but the bathroom was tiny and water got everywhere when I showered. We went to the secret lagoon and showered there ;) Staff friendly but hard to find. Main door locked and instructions say use key code but I was never given a key code so I went and banged on the window of the restaurant where someone let me in. The area is beautiful with a lovely church on the grounds but not much else around. Gas and mini mart about 10 min. Fludir about 20 min with more amenities including the Secret Lagoon.
