Bathroom was nasty. Like think of the grossest bathroom you’ve been to and it’s that. Between that and the gross people in my room I just slept in the car.

Room was warm, but good with the AC on! Staff were great as well. I feel like it should be $40 for the night, but that’s my only gripe with it!

Worked as an inexpensive place for a night. Great lounging space and kitchen.

It was very clean and well maintained

Very basic. The best thing about this place is the location. Close to many things for your visit to Kelowna. The staff is friendly. Decent back patio. The interior can use some updates and more attention to detail for cleanliness. The bathrooms can use a more pleasing update as well. I didn’t want to touch anything or leave my stuff touching anything. Beds were adequate.

On expedia website, did not indicate that there is service charge for vehicle park. It turned out that there is an additional 10$ + tax per night with room rental The bedroom is so small the air. conditioner for the room is mounted in a position so low that cold air keep blowing on the side of the bed.

Not a typical hostel… a little bit rougher and not particularly clean. Everything smelled like cigarettes and BO, and I paid for parking and there was no available spot(just found somewhere down the block). Reception was polite and efficient but not particularly helpful. Good enough for a last minute place to crash…

Air conditioning wasn’t working. I had staff come up to check it. Said he would be back in 5 minutes. Never came back. Went back to front desk and there was no one there and closed up for the night. Switched rooms in the morning but suffered all night

All private rooms face a high traffic and noisy street, actually it is near the start of the highway/bridge that crosses the lake to West Kelowna. Room, mattress and bathrooms lack proper maintenance, all look worn out by years of use. Room air conditioner just circulate air, no cooling. Communal kitchen is well equipped.

As expected

Helpful staff. Immense, fully equipped kitchen. Clean. My only complaint is that I was on the top floor and found it uncomfortably hot 24/7. I will return here, in cooler months

Awesome location (everything walkable and a good bus connection), comfy bed, friendly and helpful front desk. I recommend a 1-2 day stay. Price is fair. Okay for a hostel. Room is clean even though not in the detail (behind bed / lockers). Awesome AC that cools down the room within minutes. The showers are NOT as displayed on Expedia (see pictures).They are a bit gross but cleaned daily so no hairs / paper towels on the floor after they cleaned. I stayed at the HI Vancouver and expected the brand to align with a certain standard but I feel like it’s an old building that needs renovation so the people who work there can only do so much. There was a bachelorette party in the back when I stayed, so be aware that their quiet time is 12am. Not the hotels fault and earplugs are always a good idea (also for purchase at the reception). For woman: I highly recommend staying in a female dorm. I recommend crossing the street by “the beach house”, not on the chevron side. I felt safe for the time I stayed there.

Nothing. To close to highway! Would not give back full unused cost due to checking out early!

Kitchen’s shelves were clean, but refrigerators were very dirty. And rooms are not same as in pictures.
