Wow une maison historique au milieu d'un camps minier tres tres interessant , tres paisible et que dire de la dame qui s'occuppe de maintenir l'endroit propre et acceuillant une perle !!!

Superbe lieu à découvrir, par contre ancien bâtiment mal insonorisé. Les bouchons d'oreilles sont fournis heureusement.

A un prochain séjour, je choisirais une chambre avec toilette. C'est le seul bémol que nous avons rencontré.

A lovely room all the way around. Sound privacy was lacking. Couldn’t park in the street overnight.

I love that room & always prefer it with washroom. It’s always clean too

Très propre, manquerait un porte serviette dans la chambre pour mettre nos serviettes. Dans l’ensemble très agréable .

cute and simple

Very nice room with independent lock, beautiful (shared) bathroom, excellent kitchen facilities. All communication was via email, no one was on site, but the instructions were very clear. Lots of parking (I parked in the back). Nice restaurant just a couple of walking minutes away, good brewpub a longer (but comfortable) walk away.

This eloquent older building has a lot of character having been one of the first boarding houses for single miners in Val d’Or in the early years. It has everything you need. It is in a quiet area of town yet close to important transportation routes. The owner, Nico, is very pleasant and accommodating. I would highly recommend the Auberge L’Opailleur.
