Booked this property because i was transiting overnight and the property was close to the airport. Emailed a few weeks prior, to the property that i was arriving at 11PM and was informed that checkin would be closed and information would be at the front desk. Arrived at 11PM to a deserted house with nothing after a 15minute grab ride from the airport but a set of keys with a 3 on it. After trying to reach the owners of the property. To no avail, I used the key found room 3 already tenanted and found things in the room upstairs.
Tried calling the numbers multple times and leaving a message. But got nothing for 20minutes. Didnt see anyone except a group of French guests come in at around 1120. Finally after 30mins presumably the wife opened a door and tld me to wait. Then a gentleman came out and mumbled if i he could help me?
Pretty disappointed by the service. Usually Malaysian hospitality is great. Mumbled an apology which didnt sound sincere and showed me a room. No keys were provided. Felt like I inconvenienced them despite them messing up the booking. Didnt get a good rest, At night had trouble sleeping, it was noisy with planes coming/going.
I understand mixups happen, but a sincere apology would've gone a long way. Left at 6am the next day. If i had my time again, id probably have paid extra and booked a room at the airport.
