Quiet, hot tub

Everything about this stay was perfect! The grounds are perfect. Scenic and well kept. The chirping of the birds in the morning…the tinkling of the water from the stream. The perfect breakfast served by smiling and friendly host. Comfortable beds…beautiful cared for and a welcoming feel. Absolutely perfect!

The place is fantastic! Short walk to the beach and I liked being outside of the main strip.

Living in the midst of greenery in a touristic place like Arenal was most appealing. Checkin was easy, parking was convenient. As expected in a green place, there are bugs. Would have liked If the doors were screen protected. This would have allowed us to experience the nature outside better..

Was a nice 2 days and away from the traffic in Fortuna. Cozy cabins with jacuzzi 😎

We stayed in a 3 bed 2 bath bungalow type rental at Bungalows Las Iguanas. The beds were comfy and the property was very clean. No trouble with bugs. We had a 19 year old and 24 year old with us and they loved the private outdoor pool and hot tub. This is a small family-owned business and they were all very friendly and welcoming. They offered a great free breakfast every morning and we could text them any time we had questions. Another plus, we saw a pair of slothes less than a mile from the property that hang out around some power lines. We had a relaxing stay and would stay at this property again if we ever go back to La Fortuna. The only negative about property is closeness to road. Our bungalow was in front of property and road noise was pretty loud and woke us up from sleep. If you rent a bungalow further back from the road the noise will not be an issue. There are some crazy drivers and loud cars/motorcycles in Costa Rica😂 This was one of the best properties we have ever stayed at.

This is an amazing place to stay, from the very start you are greeted and shown around the property. The rooms are beautiful and the nature surrounding them can’t be beat. The owners are so great and breakfast was amazing every day. They gave us recommendations to awesome spots, going as far as setting up last minute tours for us. I would highly recommend Las Iguanas to anyone!

The scenery was wonderful in the area and their hospitality was inviting / welcoming and exceptional. It was good but for the price and considering the other reviews I expected a little more. It was a little further from area attractions in La Fortuna than expected.

The breakfast was the best part of our stay. We enjoyed pancakes.

I had the pleasure of staying in this enchanting bungalow in Costa Rica, and it was truly a slice of paradise. The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable, with a luxurious jacuzzi that became my go-to spot for unwinding under the stars. The hospitality was second to none—everyone on staff made me feel incredibly welcomed and cared for. Waking up to the lush natural surroundings and peaceful ambiance each morning was nothing short of magical. This was a perfect, relaxing getaway, and I can’t wait to return for another visit.

We loved the outback country rainforest feel of this property. About a 30 minute scenic drive into La Fortuna, but close places to buy meals or groceries. Home cooked made to order breakfast was included and delicious. Family owned business and great customer service.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel, Jose is an amazing host, very friendly and great experience. Great breakfast too!

Our visit was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of the jungle. The service was impeccable and the iguanas did not disappoint. Jose is very attentive and his madre will fix you and impeccable breakfast while teaching you new words in Español too.

100% recommend this place. We had the bottom bungalow and were perfect for two of us. The hot tub is awesome with the view. The family that owns this is very nice and accommodating. If I am ever back in the area I would stay again.

Excellent place to relax and enjoy nature.

The location was perfect for visiting Monteverde and the cloud forest. Our mountainview apartment was spacious and very private with everything we might need. The balcony provided an opportunity for bird watching and included a visit from a couple of cappucin monkeys! Highly recommend La Guayaba for couples.

Het was een superfijn verblijf. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en het huisje was boven verwachting mooi. Daarnaast was de host super vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar. Het ontbijt was lekker en heel knus. Het enige nadeel is dat dit verblijf een stukje van la Fortuna afligt. Maar dit is wel goed aan te rijden. Ik zou dit zeker aanraden!
