Cheap an cheerful

Amazing staff member Tatiana who checked me in, quicky responded to my call and was very friendly and helped me with my bag. The room was very cramped and the carpet was very musty and desperately needed a deep clean. The beds had sharp metal legs that I kept catching my feet on painfully as there was so little space to manoeuvre around them. Adjoining door to next room meant I could hear every word they were saying. Overall an okay stay for a night.

Very lovely stay in room 1 with two beds, a double and a single which were very comfortable and clean. The relax inn guest house is within a very walkable distance from the pier and the lanes, very convenient with plenty of shop, pub, and dining options. Would definitely recommend and would come back for my next trip to Brighton.

Relax Inn was good and I enjoyed my stay. It was near all the points of interest.

Great seaside access, but quite old.

The staffs were lovely and helpful. The location is quite close to the Pier and beach if you fancy that. Overall, the building at large has little space to fit every thing in to. Very tiny staircase, room, bed, wardrobe, the most frustrating was that I could barely fit into the shower, with a BMI of only 25. There was no fridge, kitchen service and the entire room has only 1 socket to plug everything I needed into; bedside lamp, phone, computer, boiling kettle etc. I was given a tiny piece of bathing soap and a towel for each day I stayed in. Overall, I felt this was very over-priced and aside the very helpful staff on ground, there was nothing else to remember about this place.

It was cosy, convenient location, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Perfect.

I wanted a functional room close to the beach. That’s exactly what I found. Really friendly, helpful staff. Local shops around the corner . Everything I needed for my stay

Good value in a good location

The bed was uncomfortable, they don’t let you leave luggage early or keep after stay, the walls are paper thin, I was awaken in the middle of the night by someone cooking.

Just lovely. So close to the sea. Beautiful and clean. Truly adorable place. Kind proprietors. Would always return here.

Excellent service from the team at Relax Inn.

At 11pm a drunk skinhead tried to get into my room. He was trying all locks on the first floor. I opened my door and told him to clear off. He just stared at me in a drunken stupor. A young guy had let him into the hotel, so the security was bad. This young guy then tried to get the drunk away. I called the number and the lady from the hotel (who wasn't onsite) said she said he was from the hotel next door and had made a mistake. Overall it's dangerous not to have a member of staff onsite at night. And... for lone female travellers - avoid.
