In a great part of town in NuLu. Coffee shops, BBQ, breweries and great unique shops all within walking distance. Easy parking on side streets or valet. Gotta try the warm olives in the rooftop bar at the hotel. Addicting….got to go to Muths to get the special candy. Hotel is uniquely decorated and has a great vibe. Staff was friendly.

Beautiful place but room was terribly dark. I’ve stayed in hotels of similar vibe but for anyone who just wants to see in their suitcase at night, the room was so dim it was impossible. I asked for an extra plug in lamp and received no follow up. Maybe it was just my room but not for anyone who has the slightest bit of issue seeing dark, particularly at night.

Love this hotel! Has a great, upbeat vibe. It’s in a great area. So much to do, great bars and restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk

Hotel is very cute, and trendy. However the front desk staff was not dressed nor acted professional. My stay was during derby. I had a very long travel day and requested an interior room away from the party noise. The room I was given over looked the rabbit hole bar, and was extremely loud in the room at 3pm. I ask the front desk how long the music would be playing, she said it’s a bar and they are open until 4am. I then asked if I could be moved and was told I could not. After I demanded to speak to the manager and I was eventually moved to a quieter room.

Perfect location. Safe neighborhood. Amazing boutique hotel. Michelin Key distinguished property. Street parking nearby if you don't wish to valet. During my stay was the last weekend for onsite The Lucky Penny speakeasy bar. It permanently closed the Sunday I checked out. Sad. Cool bar. I was informed that it will be renovated as another concept. Nice little market in the hotel for coffee, breakfast sandwiches, basic snacks, drinks. You receive a $20 market credit to use with each night's stay. Nice restaurant on property, also. Clean hotel. Comfortable bed. Close to many wonderful restaurants, cocktail bars and a couple of boutique distilleries. Short walks to restaurants like The Last Refuge, LuLu on Market, La Bodeguita De Mima is right across the street. Bob Dylan's Heaven's Gate Distillery is two blocks away, Whiskey Thief Distillery...this is a great place to stay if wanting to explore the treasures in NuLu.

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, the bar upstairs is awesome, the hotel store has everything you could possibly need, and the location is great: Done!

Beautiful hotel. Great style and comfort. Friendly staff. I wish the rooftop terrace and lounge were accessible all day for hotel guests. Instead of 4pm onwards. Also some maintenance work was happening during my stay, which led to some noise disturbances.

Excellent property and location. Highly recommend.

The only thing I would look at is more lighting in the rooms. Especially the bathroom. Hard to put on makeup I was pleased with everything else

Poor customer service

The bar next door is absurdly loud. I’m in my 40s and partied as much as anyone and I’ve never seen anything like it. Our room was on the 5th floor, the bar is street level, should have been plenty far enough away. I didn’t get to sleep until they stopped the music at 2am. I’m not saying like I could hear noise…I actually thought maybe it was a party in the room right below me. I even tried turning the a/c fan to constant and running my own music and nothing blocked it out. Hotel is gorgeous - top of the line everything. It’s cozy and very comfortable. It’s impeccably clean. The perfect Instagram shoot location. Staff is great. Unfortunately, you go to a hotel to sleep and I didn’t get to do much of that. The staff the next morning told me to call ahead next time and request a room on the other side of the hotel. I’d never stay here again unless I planned to be up until 2 because it’s not worth the risk. It’s really sad that the hotel has such terrible neighbors. I can’t even imagine the millions spent on this hotel and they ended up with a trashy shipping container bar outside.

Overall, the stay was great. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My only complaint is the lighting. The bathroom light was insufficient for applying makeup and the bedside light was on the wall (not a table lamp), with a switch that required you to get out of bed to turn it off. My husband didn't like that there was no coffee in the room and the only complimentary coffee was offered at the front desk from 5-7 a.m. After that, coffee was available in the mini mart for $7 for a small cup of americano. We tried Byrdie's, and highly recommend it. The area had several little restaurants and shops within walking distance. Whiskey Row was a bit of a hike but definitely doable (and about a $25 uber ride on a rainy day!). Would definitely stay again.

Great location, very clean, quiet, Hotel appears new, helpful and friendly staff. We also got a very good rate. Everything you want in a Hotel. Will staff here again.

Very charming , awesome toliettres, comfortable beds . Staff was personable and made us feel like home.

Our stay at hotel Genevieve was good overall…very nice modern hotel…close to a lot of stuff…only thing I didn’t really like is that they have no access to microwave in the hotel
