Grand, confortable, bien décoré

Inside it was very nice, clean and modern. Parking was not as bad as I expected, however to understand all the signage around the times and dates for availability, was a bit of a challenge. Neighbourhood was a bit rough, always garbage staged for pickup, maybe thats a Montreal thing because we saw this all the way into downtown

We were dissatisfied with the communication from the hosts. We booked this property well in advance but 3 days before our stay we were told the unit we booked was undergoing renovations and therefore unavailable. They did find us another unit in the same building after offering another property which was not acceptable but when we checked in there was another guest in the room who just found out his booking was cancelled. He left but it was unsettling to see another guest in our place and then hear how he was now displaced. Other than that, the unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. The description says air conditioned but it’s not throughout the apartment. There is an a/c unit only in the family room. The bedrooms came with fans but it got hot at night. The kitchen had everything you needed but only 4 place settings (plates, bowls etc.) and our booking was as a family of 5. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the difficulties we had but the unit is as described.

The apartment was great for our stay in Montreal. However, there were a few glitches. 1. The site description implied there was parking. I was expecting a lot designated for the building. The parking was on the street and we had to use Google translate to ensure we were parking in an ok spot. We lucked out and got a good spot for the entire time were were there. 2. I reserved 4404 but when I received the message with all the info I was moved to 4410. 4404 was one step into the apartment, 4410 was three flights of stairs to the apartment. This was not a problem for us, but, could have been a problem if someone had mobility issues. 3. There were no sheets available to put on the "bed" in the living room. 4. The freezer did not work. I am adding this for the owner to check on it. The apartment was clean and I felt safe in the neighborhood. It was a very short walk from the metro station and several restaurants. It was nice to have an entire apartment for ourselves after staying in hotels. Using an all-day Metro pass we were able to navigate easily and enjoy our time in Montreal.

They didn’t have the apartment that I booked, so they arrange other one. Very stressful, no parking lot in this property. Parking in the street
