Great location, clean, well furnished. Easy access with coded locks, lication was safe and secure. A/C worked great!

Unacceptable conditions. The Crystal Room in floor 3 was infested with roaches, mildew in shower curtains, the entire property smells like mold, we were swarmed by termites all over the apartment on the last night, poor sleep, dried snot in bathroom walls, tight bathroom space, no good warm water, electrical system attached to shower head, small baby roaches all over kitchen utensils and pots. Needs fumigation, wall repairs, mold mitigation and better decor.

GREAT location, beautiful and comfortable space. My teenagers loved it!

I stayed in the patio room, included a mini fridge a microwave, private bathroom, TV, and wifi. Very convinent location, walking distance to most Old San Juan attractions. Beach towels and bath towels are provided.

The decoration are unique, but the room is comfy.

I loved the location, and the way it looks once you entered the building. The people is very friendly and if you have any question they will answer you very quickly. I hope I can go back to the Island soon, and I would definitely stay in this place again.

It was ok. For the same price I could have gotten a hotel room with two beds, pool and rooftop terrace, but I was duped by Hotels.com thinking it was $75 cheaper, till Casa of Essence, added the $65 "property fee," which no one else charged.

Stayed there 5 night, really nice that you can come and go as you please, really quiet at night and we stayed at “the garden apartment” loved it and quiet at night

Property is located in a very central area. Easy check in instructions available. The building is quite old and needs some TLC. The downside is that they also had quite a bit of cockroaches crawling everywhere and would benefit from a fumigation.

We enjoyed our stay and the location was excellent. Having said that, we wouldn't stay there again. The main draw back was there was NO hot water in the apartment except for the shower in the bathroom. A device that generated heat was attached to the shower head. No other faucets had hot water.

Great place to stay.

Nice clean and comfortable. Close to dining, shopping and tourist attractions. Very walkable.

Beautiful room in the Old San Juan. Responsive and attentive host. Safe building with access only with passcode. Liked the welcome drink. Very close to the Old Castle, and the famous Mallorca breakfast place. Would have liked a window though.

I rented out 2 rooms one was good, the other had a roach infestation. This particular room was comfortable and very convenient for sight seeing around historic VSJ. It could be cleaner as is evident by our other room, owner and staff were friendly and quick to respond.

The location is awesome and the staff is friendly and quick to respond, but room was infested with roaches, left day before check out (2 day rental) was scheduled, staff apologized but that’s simply not enough. I do mean infested as we killed over 7 roaches and saw more, staff and owner pretended to be surprised by infestation, if indeed they didn’t know it is their job to know.
