Location great retro vibe - felt homey

Thank you so much for the wonderful stay at Penguin Waterfront Escape. We had a truly relaxing and memorable time. The location was beautiful, the accommodation was comfortable and well maintained, and everything we needed was thoughtfully prepared. Waking up to the waterfront views was a real highlight, and it made our stay extra special. Magic views, right on the beach. Property has everything you could need and right next to a good supermarket. Easy off-street parking.

Brilliant beach front location with beautiful views and close to all that Penguin has to offer, including cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, walks and bike paths and a fenced playground just across the steet.

This is an absolutely beautiful, luxurious accommodation. We stayed in room 1, the spacious two bedroom apartment upstairs. With a large, airy, open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, every room was immaculate, beautifully appointed and well-equipped with everything you might need for a very comfortable stay. A gorgeous ocean view, a large balcony deck for enjoying the views, and very lovely, gracious hosts. If you're coming to NW Tassie, this is a very fine place to stay. Highly recommended.

Worth for the money to stay

Absolutely amazing. Retro styled apartment with all the mod cons too. We stayed in 8 different places during our trip around Tassie and this stay was a highlight. Thank you Libby and Terry

Beautiful apartment with views across to the beach, and just down the road from the famous Big Penguin. Local eateries very good and a supermarket 3 doors down the road. Well located for visits to Burnie, Ulverstone, Devonport,Gunns plains caves, Cradle mountain and others.

Unique decor, large open plan space. Beautiful waterfront views, in the centre of town for exploring. IGA and bakery very close by. A little hard to find clear signage for the property and parking. No freezer in the mini fridge.
