Our stay at the Iona Heights Inn was short, but enjoyable. Location was excellent, scenery was unbelievable. Our room was cozy with lots of hot water in shower. Clean fresh towels & linen. New bedding. We were disappointed there was no full breakfast but the continental breakfast was adequate with some healthy choices. Very nice stay.

This is the perfect spot. The view from the balconies is breath taking. Exactly what everyone wants to see in the Maritimes. The pub attached to the motel is wonderful. Clean and comfortable rooms. Stay here!!

Great view from upper rooms, wood vaulted ceilings made the rooms seem unique, and the pub/restaurant is a gem.

Amazing views from the balcony. Very convenient having the pub onsite for food and drinks. Small grocery store onsite also an added bonus. Kids loved the basketball sport court. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and we had a nice supper in the hotel restaurant/bar.

Staff were exceptional helpful and friendly. There was live music in pub when got there which was a nice surprise. Definitely would recommend.

Room with a lake view was nice way to end the day. Just be aware, if you eat at the onsite restaurant they charge a $10 fee per person added to your bill for the entertainment playing music there. This was a scam. We ate dinner there as there is nothing else around, its not like we just sat down to listen to the music!

Needed updating.bedding was clean and fresh. Loud neighbors, up till 2 a m talking playing music. balcony with view wonderful .staff helpful

Rooms are clean but would need a bit of remodeling. Staff is wonderful. Did not use the bar a me d breakfast was continental breakfast for $13.00/per person

Great food available at frolicking folk.

Sin duda un sitio precioso y espectacular, con muchas actividades para familia, baloncesto, gimnasio y otros deportes para practicar. El desayuno o no estaba incluido pero tiene buen precio y estaba muy completo. La atención muy correcta. Las vistas al lago eran espectaculares, además la habitación cuenta con una terraza. Cenamos allí, porque no hay muchas opciones cerca. Las raciones eran muy grandes. Nachos Thai, Aros de cebolla caseros y batata frita. Sin duda de los mejores sitios. Lo Escogimos por estar céntrico en Cape Breton.

The view was stunning ! The staff were so friendly. The food was pretty good. The room was not clean at all. I used an entire pack of baby wipes to clean the floor. There was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door and there appeared to be dirty / unfolded bedding on the entry shelf.

The property is in a great location. The room was fine and the view was great! Staff very pleasant. Unfortunately, it was very hot 32/33 Celsius and with no air conditioning it was hot. We had a fan which we were thankful for. Lunenburg is beautiful place to visit and we visited the Blue nose 2 and had a sail. Free parking is available , just a 10 minute walk, just google free parking.

We got in after the check in ended but keys were left for us, however they did not work. Ended up getting a new room. Towels were not clean. This stay was a quick stopover so it served its purpose. Great view of the sunset in the morning.

It was very loud upstairs, mosquitoes came in the room from the space around the door. We had very limited sleep and no lake view from our room. Nobody was at guest services when we first arrived. We were not asked for identification, which I found d rather strange.

My second time now staying at the Iona Inn, I highly recommend this as a great place to stay.
