Property was reasonably clean but very run down. Beds were comfortable but would never stay again.

We had reserved a room with a queen size bed. The receptionist directed us to a room. It had 2 double beds, which we would have accepted, except the freezer in the fridge was completely blocked from top to bottom and the fridge door would not close. I went to the receptionist who told me that the original room had no water & the plumber had been called, but had not yet arrived. She directed us to a different room. In the second room, the freezer in the fridge had 2-3 nches on both sides and on the floor of the freezer. There was room to put my cold pack in it, but I would not put anything in the other part of the fridge, b/c it was dirty. The coffee pot unit was also dirty and had no sweetener of any kind, no cream or cream substitute & no stir sticks. It had 2 pkgs of coffee only, which we did not use, b/c the coffee unit was dirty. The bedspreads had stains on them, but the sheets & pillow cases appeared to be clean. There was a hole in the wall that had not been fixed. The bathroom had stains on the walls, floor & door. There was severe rust on the heat radiator. The bathtub had rust spots where the enamel had worn off. The inside of the toilet had not been cleaned properly. We would not use the tub to bathe or shower. The towels & facecloths had stains all over them & we would not use them. We are in our seventies & had no choice but to stay overnight. We couldn't wait to leave the next morning! I would not recommend this hotel to a dog!!!

Nobody was in the office at check out time 8 am. We also thought there was some kind of breakfast as stated in there ad.

Internet good, pet friendly, needs more cleaning and updating.

I stay at the Wildwood every time I participate in the Nova Scotia Marathon. The price is reasonable (never goes up in price) for what you get. The bathroom could use some improvements and there was a hole punched in the wall which needs repair. A fair price for an okay hotel.

The hotel is in a quiet residential location. It's convenient to get to since it's close to the highway access. We stayed for 2 nights for a sporting event in Shelburne that's 30 minutes away from the place. I would recommend this place if you are near the area.

Loved that they had a fridge with ice cubes and a microwave. Only problem with bathroom was that the shower curtain was mouldy at the bottom.

Room was clean. Beds were clean. Had a clean fridge too. Checked in later in the evening. Clerk was nice and helpful. Would return.

Adequate, run down, room stunk of cleaning products couldn't get the heat off in the bathroom which had black mold around the bathtub. More like a 90 dollar room.

Booked three rooms, and in one of them there was an active wasp nest. I didn't even want to look at the sheets with the light on after seeing the moldy shower curtain, dirty chair, and disgusting fridge. Thank goodness it was just for one night. Will never stay here again.

Clean room, quiet area, convenient

It was nice and quiet, enjoyed our stay. Our only problem was how old the beds were, just rolling over made them creak and squeak.

With a bit of clean up and renovation, it has the potential of becoming an excellent motel.

Nice place to sleep, very peaceful. However, it needs some work done in the room, many things are either broken or a little shabby.

Les gens à la réception sont très gentils et accueillants. La chambre, la salle de bain avaient l’air corrects. Mais on voit vite que les lieux ne sont pas si propres et le service aux chambres laisse à désirer. Par contre le motel est bien situé et c’est très tranquille.

it's a good place landing in ferry terminal to break for the night while heading to Halifax. Budget basic accommodation for a night, in a very small town

clean sheets but top cover not clean, curtain was hanging down from the rod , dark atmosphere, just not a pleasant stay , we will not go back

Nice people, comfortable bed but tub caulking is moldy and kind of gross. Stayed for business before and a different room was perfect.
