It is not worth $300 at all. Not at all.

Nothing fancy but beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked well.

The Ashwood Inn is a lovely place to stay in Central Huron. It’s very close to Grand Bend, Goderich and Bayfield. Many of the best beaches on Ontario’s West Coast are just minutes away. I would highly recommend staying here as the rooms are spacious, it’s very quiet, and the staff were very helpful.

The room was very spacious and clean. The overall experience here was wonderful. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Need more or bigger garbage cans in the rooms but otherwise great time staying here!

The staff was great: Mark at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and renovated. The location of the motel is noisy when you’re outside but fine in the room. The restaurant was convenient and the food was good. Service was very good. We didn’t use the pool as it wasn’t very inviting after I had a chance to swim in the lake. The place was very quiet.

We stayed for two nights and had a very disappointing experience. The pool was dirty, our room was humid, and no breakfast was provided. There were people smoking nearby, so it definitely didn't feel family friendly. The worst part was the service. It seems like only one person works there – all communication is done by text message. We texted the inn asking for clean towels, and they replied saying they would change the towels every day. But when we left for the day and came back in the afternoon, the dirty towels were still there. We had to find someone in person to finally ask for clean ones. Very frustrating. We won't be back.

Great location. The heater was so noisy all night I could barely sleep. Other than that, the place was good.

Space for pets, a BBQ, and enough room for the kids to play.

The rooms and inside the inn were very clean and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and cared that you had a good stay. Very communicative.

appreciative of the view the property offered, other than that the cleaniness of the room was just barely acceptable.

The room itself was fairly clean, but it had a strong mildew/mold smell, so we had to sleep with the window open. The property feels very dated for the price, and our main concern was the possible presence of mold. That said, it served its purpose for a one-night stay while attending a wedding, and the staff was very pleasant.

Great location with fantastic amenities at the inn! There are many activities for kids, including a playground, indoor pool, volleyball court, lawn games, and even a fire pit. I highly recommend staying here.

Outside a small country town (definitely need a car), so you can't walk to it, but there's an amusing trail on the property. They have a good charger for electric cars.
