I did not know anything about this place and stumbled upon it. I loved everything about it. I loved the character, the mystery, the stories it told in each room with the art. It was exceptionally clean. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool and hot tub which means I have to come back. It is all really well done. The only reason I gave 4 stars on amenities was because the restaurant was closed for renovations. It made for a hard time finding something to eat at 9pm. That said, I can’t wait to come back. I initially was on the 3rd floor. I have some mobility issues and climbing steps that high proved to be too difficult. However, the staff was beyond accommodating by changing our room to a lower level and even helped move our suitcases. The only thing I would say is if going in the summer, choose the garden view because you cannot see the river in the summer due to all the trees. Fabulous place and am telling my friends!!!
