가격대비 시설이 너무좋았어요~ 근처에 마트도 많고 먹을곳도 많아요ㅎㅎ 그리고 무엇보다 주인 아저씨 아주머니가 너무 친절하셔서 편하게 지내다 왔어요! 다음에 또 자고가고싶은 곳이네요ㅎㅎ

Terrible establishment. Terrible communication. Held on to my deposit until I called multiple times. The manager told me I was supposed to complete the deposit refund when I checked out, but yet the other employee simply asked me my room number when I checked out and took my keys and that was that. Called about my deposit refund 5 days after check-out to be given the run around for 3 hours saying it was going to be e-transferred to me. (Which seems suspicious as is). The manager then copped an attitude after I’m obviously frustrated that it’s been this complicated. Told me to “hang up now or he wasn’t going to do my e-transfer soon.” Stay away from this place. Bad business with terrible management. So sad, because the rest of the staff were so polite.

This accommodations has bed bugs. Their customer service is horrible and they will not refund you even after seeing the bed bugs for themselves. Then they will try to blame it on Expedia policies even after Expedia contacts them. Expedia will not rectify the situation either.

All around for a lower end hotel stop our experience was good, staff were friendly and accommodating the rooms were safe and clean.

Very clean and quiet. I found it a bit expensive, but that's just bc it's Kamloops, everything in Kamloops is more expensive than other places. It's an older building, nothing flashy, but it's clean, secure, and the water pressure was good, which is all that matters. Would stay again.

there is a multitude of food chooses near by---fast food as well as restaurants the staff were very helpful and cheerful and courteous the pricing is excellent for being in the neighbourhood of the university we enjoyed our stay at Star Lodge

The room was not clean had stains on the covers and had dead bugs on the counters

I would never stay here again. Room smelled like smoke, there were even old cans outside a lot of the rooms for cigarette butts. Bedding must have been from the 70's - so old and threadbare. Way overpriced as well.

Breathed pepper spray, saw dead body back of hotel, shower hot water broken, AC broken, table leg broken, tried charging $130 for the already broken shower. Hotel kept half the safety deposit on stuff that was broken and didn’t change our room. No drain plug for bath. Staff was super kind and helpful, but the owner/manager kept half the safety deposit of 100. Yet also tried to charge us 130 for a shower handle.

So nice!

The bed was very comfortable and room was well presented. Only drawback - a minor one - the toilet was a low-seater and for an older heavier tall person like myself hard to get up from.

First we booked non smoking room , the first room was drinking cigarettes as we went in. The stuff gave us the other room that was available, which was even worst. At that point we gave up and thought we will just leave the windows open as we go out for dinner . We came back that dis not fix the problem, worst the AC in the room stopped working, and the air inside was unbreathable. To make it worst the next room people were up literally all night talking so loud, having the stuff going to talk to them at 4 am did not stop them from resuming 5 minutes later…… We thought oh it would be fine for just one night, but it was such a terrible experience that we will never do again!!!!!
