숙소 자체는 좋았는데 방음이 정말 안됐어요 특히 방안에 변기소리 진짜커서 자다가도 몇번 깻네요 근데 샤워실이랑 화장실은 진짜 깨끗했고 숙소자체눈 엄청 만족입니다

Every staffs are very friendly and so nice. The location is really good. It was clean and comfortable given hostel, it was quite narrow yet.

딱 하루 자기에는 좋은 것 같아요. 샤워실이 너무 좁아서 아쉬웠어요.

생각보다 상당히 깨끗하고 시설들도 좋았습니다. 조식도 잘 나오고, 숙소도 따뜻하고 편했고, 직원분들도 친절하셨습니다. 침대가 조금 오래 된것같긴 하지만 전반적으로 굉장히 만족합니다.

호스텔 위치는 다운타운 중심이라 걸어다니면서 관광하기에는 정말 좋았어요! 오타와 다운타운이 생각보다 넓지 않아서 호스텔에서 걸어다녔고요, 바로앞에 리도센터몰이 있어서 식사나 쇼핑하기에도 좋았어요. 스태프들도 정말 친절하고 좋았는데요, 호스텔 시설은 오래된 감옥건물이다보니 와이파이는 룸에서 거의 안되고요, 실제 감방으로 쓰던 시설이라 문이나 창문이 복도쪽으로 다 뚫려서 방음은 잘 안되는 편이에요. 난방은 복도에서 하는데 따뜻하게 잘 잤습니다. 조금 불편하지만 하루정도 재미로 잘 만 한거같아요! 감옥 투어는 매일 오전11시마다 약 1시간씩 진행하는데 설명 잘해주셔서 재밌게 보다 왔어!요

Staff is friendly and very helpful. Great atmosphere and unique place to stay. Easy parking option for a fee. Very well located. Included breakfast was appreciated.

The experience was Fantastic 10/10. Front desk were friendly and were helpful , when we explained someone had parked in our parking spot so we had to park in someone else's (I'm sure that was a real mess at the end of the day ). Breakfast was ample with fresh fruit , cereal, bagels hash browns eggs, and a decent coffee . The cell was clean , sheets were clean . Quiet time was to be 11 pm -9 am . Ding ding ding 2/10.......people were really loud talking ect in the hallways started at 4:30 am and no regard for people trying to sleep . Read the signs people and think of others , I would recommend this hostel for the experience but bring ear plugs

The kitchen, rooms, bathrooms and shower were always clean. A small fan was at the head of the bed and definitely a life saver for keeping things cool and the air moving. Parking was on site, code access only and felt safe. The on site breakfast hit the spot with fresh fruit options.

Nice experience, fun to sleep in an actual old prison. Could use some nor power outlet in the room though, to charge the phones.

Easy quick parking, clean areas and comfortable beds! Also such amazing staff the general manager is a sweetheart.

This is my favourite place to stay in Ottawa. I have rebooked there many times. Great atmosphere. Close proximity to transportation and shopping. Friendly staff. Clean.

I stayed here 2 nights in order to join the open house for Carleton Uni. Each room I stayed (10 person the first night, 4 person the second night) was quiet and very respectful, however there was noise the second night from a nearby room. The noise from that nearby room carried on until 1AM, even though everyone was supposed to be quiet after 11PM. I used a locker to keep my stuff safe in my room, however if I had a full suitcase with me, I likely would've kept it locked up downstairs with the very friendly staff. The breakfast wasn't great, but the fact I got unlimited free breakfast for a $33 night stay was amazing in and of itself. There were 3 types of rather stiff bagels, 2 brands of cereal, earl grey and green tea, regular and decaff coffee (with cream and milk, there may have been sugar but I don't use it), eggs, rather dry hash browns, and various meats (I'm don't eat meat so I didn't keep track of those very well). The beds are small, so I can't recommend the 10 or 4 person stay to anyone taller than 6'1 or 6'2. The beds are also bunkbeds, and are somewhat squeaky, but I didn't have much trouble sleeping at all as most people are quiet and respectful. The beds were very clean however, and they even provide you with a towel, so you don't have to bring your own unless you really want to. I felt safe both nights, there were spaces on the bottom(ish) floor for me to do my work, it seemed like a fun environment for groups, and there was a free prison tour included!

Hostel muito bem localizado, bem no centro da cidade e próximo a diversas opções de transporte público. A equipe do hostel é cordial e prestativa. A limpeza dos ambientes é adequada. Possui espaços de convivência e trabalho, incluindo salas nas quais é possível trabalhar de forma individual. Cozinha bem equipada. Gostei muito do café da manhã. No domingo tinha até Nutella. Fiquei em quarto compartilhado e não tive problemas. Achei os quartos silenciosos com relação aos ruídos externos à propriedade. A cama era confortável e a cortina ajudava muito na questão da privacidade. Tive bons colegas de quarto nessa estadia. Os quartos possuem armários para armazenamento de pertences possível de ser trancado com cadeado, o que foi excelente. O hostel é temático, estando localizado no edifício de uma antiga prisão. Apesar de entender a proposta e não ter tido nenhum problema, a ambientação temática dá um clima pesado ao ambiente. Então, se você não gosta de ambientes pesados, veja direitinho as fotos e avalie bem. Mas, se não tem problema com isso, é uma excelente opção. O tour oferecido diariamente vale muito a pena para conhecer mais a história e curiosidades sobre o local.
