The room is clean and the staff is friendly. But the pay is only chile peso, no us dollar. The dinner is served fully. Around the hotel, anything else.

We booked this to stay just one night, we were in calama just overnight to take a flight in the morning, it is a good place if you are not going to stay for long. The staff is not very friendly and it happened to us that we needed to get in or out and we had to wait a long time until the guy from the reception appeared to open the door

Excelente el Hostal, buen desayuno, muy buena calefacción y limpieza, los colectivos lo dejan en la puerta. Al menos pretendo regresar. Recomendable.

Lovely clean hostel. Good breakfast. Nice shower rooms en suite. But no hot water when I was there. I was told it was just my room but I had asked others and they said the same. Day staff very friendly and helpful. The location could be a problem as it is right on the edge of town but the edge is a lovely river 25 yards away. The hostel is used by local workforce in the week , no problem for me.
