This place is excellent for anyone visiting Nova Scotia South Shore. Mahone Bay itself has a lot of charm and the B and B is located across the water and walking distance from everything you need. Cathy is an exuberant host. She is incredibly welcoming and was very helpful as we figured out where we wanted to visit each day. My friend and I stayed in different rooms (the Captain's Quarters and Emma's Hideaway) and they both were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and Cathy was great at making dietary accommodations. I would highly recommend!

We love the property. Out room was beautiful, as was the entire house. The breakfast, included with the room, was delicious! Cheryl was a very good host! Highly recommend.

First time at a B&B and we loved it!! Cathy was super friendly and gave us great tips of places to visit that we would have missed. The food was fantastic…the presentation lovely! Travelling with 2 teenagers and they were full after breakfast. We had the Emma room and it fit us comfortably. Great experience!!!

We had such a restful and beautiful stay with Cathy! The property is quaint and in a beautiful part of town. Chairs at the front of the property had a wonderful view. Nothing was too much trouble and there were lots of lovely touches! Breakfasts just gorgeous!

The Fisherman's daughter was a lovely spot to stay in Mahone Bay. You are greeted upon arrival by the owner Cathy and she takes you on a tour of the property. Cathy is very knowledgeable about Mahone Bay and things to do. I highly recommend staying here. The bonus is her chocolate lab Murphy who is a very good boy and will hangout with you outside.

We were made to feel so very welcome from the moment we arrived at the b&b. It is in a fantastic location and is full of character… including the very knowledgeable and helpful landlady (Cathy). The breakfasts were different from the usual fare which was good! Very tasty and delicious. We were so lucky to have booked this place. Thank you Cathy we will definitely book again should we return to the wonderful NS!

An historical building with great water view. The host Kathy was a pleasure treating us as very special friends. Breakfasts were scrumptious.

Heritage home. Lovely room, spacious bathroom. Steep stairs, pick downstairs room if you have mobility issues. Host was lovely, friendly, informative and a great cook. Breakfasts were wonderful. Highly recommend if in this area.

Such a beautiful and unique property with an absolutely delightful host. Delicious breakfasts and afternoons spent in comfy chairs watching the bald eagles fly over the harbour bay.

Mahone Bay was so beautiful! The Fisherman's Daughter is a great place to stay. The view is exceptional and the house is so welcoming. Our group was a party of six and Cathy went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Cannot wait to come back again!
