Fantastic stay! My kids loved swimming pool and diving deck. Beach was very close to walk. Old facilites but well maintained and very clean. Except my bed. I couldnt sleep well b/c the noise of bed and it was truly uncomfortable.

I have to admit we didn't know what to expect of a motel but this was a very pleasant surprise. The service was impeccable from the owner and staff. In fact, on our trip over the past months staying at chain hotels, we got better service and a cleaner, more quiet and comfortable stay. From the greeting to check-in, pool facilities, communal kitchen plus free coffee/tea bar, bbqs, outdoor seating around the property and fireplaces, covenient 2 minute walk to the beach from this quiet residential street and easy walk to restos and shopping, this motel surprised and surpassed expectation. Above all, the is service was worth the stay.

Sauble Lodge was a pleasant place to stay. The room had been updated with new flooring and the bathroom was clean with modern tile. The toilet was sweating a bit, but there isn't much you can do about that. Staff was very friendly and helpful and most things were very well kept. The grounds were very clean and tidy, the room and bathroom were clean, and the linens were mostly in excellent condition, save for a stain I noticed on the underside of one comforter. The TV in the room received many channels, and the air conditioner kept the room at a comfortable temperature without excessive noise. Our only complaint here was that the air conditioner had a smell of "urine" while it was operating. A quick Google search found that it could be due to a clogged drain, so we didn't worry about it too much. The pool area was well kept. The only thing that could have been improved was some staining of the paint just above the water line. Otherwise, the water was clean and staff was skimming it at least twice a day. Overall, our stay at Sauble Lodge was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall maintenance was very well kept. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone unless you are unable to climb stairs. There may be accessible rooms, but we didn't need one, so I'm unsure about that detail.

Affordable stay 30 seconds from Sauble Beach. Really nice outdoor pool and picnic tables to use for outdoor eating. Room is nice, bed comfy and clean sheets and towels. Good size tv also. Would recommended supplying hairdryers in rooms as a courtesy to guests. Lobby area had complementary coffee. Perhaps some second hand books for guests to peruse would be nice too. Management very friendly , check in quick and easy. Lots parking spots for guest.

People running this Lodge are all very pleasant and helpful to deal with. One young staffer helped with our bags to the second floor when checking in and wouldn't accept a tip. Heated pool was great and clean. Place was quiet except for when people passed through the halls. Room was spacious and clean although a little dated. Overall value for what we paid was outstanding! Thank you all staff for an enjoyable 2 day stay.

Check-in was great. The staff were friendly and efficient. The pool area was nice and we appreciated the shower option to rinse off feet before entering the pool. The rooms were fine for one night. The fridge was bigger than expected. Unfortunately, the mattresses were uncomfortable and the bathroom door was hard to open/close. Overall, not a bad place to stay for a short time and be close to the beach and main street.

We stayed two nights and it was a great experience. Family run little motel in a great area. Very close to the beach and 15 minutes walk to the main area. Room was clean and updated. Front desk was very helpful in every way. Pool was clean and so were the restrooms. Will definitely be back to this place.

A clock radio in the room would of been nice

Our experience was great the staff were very friendly and accommodating the rooms were extremely clean and newly renovated it was very close to the beach just a 2 minute walk and it was close enough to the main strip where my young kids and I were able to walk to the main strip for ice cream that walk was about a 15 minute walk with two very young kids.

Jessica and her husband made our stay!!! They are fantastic owners with always a bright smile and amazing coffee in the morning! Will be back definitely!
