Generally everything is good! The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room is clean and tidy, they even provide well-prepared and dedicated customer guide. It's very convenient to reach supermarket, gastation, restaurant etc.

Stayed for 3 nights while doing tours in the national park and surrounding islands. Clean and spacious room, quiet neighbors, and I felt safe leaving my belongings around. The owner was quite helpful upon check-in, and even helped with a food delivery issue at 11 PM one night. I will certainly stay here again when I’m back in Punta Arenas! Only note to perspective visitors would be that the WiFi is unsteady, so don’t expect to be downloading movies. All the more reason to get outside and enjoy the area though!

Hosts were awesome, flexible and accommodating throughout. A hidden gem with great facilities, private parking and feels incredibly safe and homely.

Nos quedamos en estos departamentos y la verdad es que la dueña nos atendió personalmente con mucha amabilidad. Nos mostró todo el lugar, que está muy bien remodelado por ellos mismos, y además cuenta con estacionamiento. El sitio es cómodo, limpio y se nota el esmero en cada detalle. En resumen, una experiencia muy buena.

The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated and it’s located in a great neighborhood. Sarah spent a lot of time with us when we arrived and gave us some great information about exploring the area. Unfortunately the person staying in the unit below us woke us up both nights we were there and was generally loud enough to hear them talking for hours on end. It wasn’t as restful as we hoped.

Room was clean and spacious. Loved having separate rooms with doors for privacy when sharing a room.

Exceptional stay at the cute hotel , very close to downtown and walkable to most places. Sarah and her partner took care of us very well. Just recommend

OVER AND BEYOND: After a two night stay here, we were already very happy with the property and with Sarah’s friendliness, helpfulness and wealth of knowledge about the area. Then on the day we were leaving to head to Puerto Natales, we were involved in a car accident, so needed to get another rental car and stay another night in Punta Arenas. We called Sarah to see if there was still a vacancy for the night and she instantly volunteered to come out and meet us to assist as an interpreter for us with the other driver, police, rental car representative, etc. Her help with this was indispensable and she spent several hours with us. If you want to stay at a nice place where the owner really cares about people (and the environment), this is the place for you.

Sara was a magnificent host. We actually stayed here twice; once at the start of our trip, and again at the end. Quick and easy communication, perfect separation for parents and adult children, walkable to everything. And... affordable. Thanks for a great stay, Sara!

Brand new place, very spacious. Sara could not have been more friendly or helpful. A couple things missing that I would have liked. Rooms aren’t soundproofed - if you are on the bottom floor, there’s no way to sleep if upstairs gets up early. Also, while I understand you can’t flush toilet paper due to city limitations, it would be nice if there was a daily housekeeping service to empty the stinky trash. Finally, a TV would be nice.

My family and I had a very cozy stay here for a few nights. We had two rooms, a nice common area and great water pressure in the shower, a treat after an 8 day hike. Sarah was very helpful and was always available to help us

Four of us had a wonderful stay at Sara and Rodrigo’s Rustic Suites! An ever warm welcome with a detailed and patient introduction of local culture and history made us feel very comfortable! Sara’s American English (she is from Illinois) made us feel home (we are from California)! Room facilities are very comfortable. Rodrigo’s help with our luggage was also impressive! Highly recommended!!! A small suggestion: Doors squeak a little due to the need of oiling the hinges. Thanks a lot Sara and Rodrigo!!!

This is a great place to stay. The hosts did a beautiful job putting everything together, it was really cute! Perfectly clean and very friendly and helpful hosts. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great 3 night stay at this location. Sarah and Rodrigo have painstakingly built this home with meticulous attention to every small detail. Sarah is very responsive. When we requested a gas stove and refills for the gas, she gave us everything we need very quickly within minutes. In addition they are great local guides, very helpful to be able to ask questions in English. We'd love to stay again if we visit Punta Arenas

Sarah and Rodrigo are great hosts; their rustic apartments and Suites are right in town at Punta Arenas. The space was good for our family of 3 adults and my son liked his bedroom with a nice bed and a writing desk. They are proud owners of this renovated property in the 1880s hi E and the new units in the back. Both are hard working and responsive making your stay comfortable. We were there on Christmas Eve and Sarah played Christmas songs with her violin, a real treat and made our trip to Punta Arenas special!
