Bra hotell med fantastisk strand.

NIce stay

The hotel is located on a pretty small beach. Wifi works well. They bring 2 water bottles every morning. But those are the only positive points. It is very noisy as you are directly by the road. There is also a wedding location just next to it, with music and beach ceremony until midnight. You can't swim as the sea is very rocky there, and it is full of seaweed (they clean it a bit on the beach everyday but seaweed remain in the water). So you have to take your car to go to other beaches (that you will need to pay access to). There is no water pressure in the shower, and it constantly goes from burning to cold. The toilet barely flushes. There is a damp smell. There is no fridge / boiler /coffee machine in the room, not even a tissue box. The breakfast is very simple (one tiny juice, one cup of tea, they refill it with lukewarm water and you have to reuse your tea bag) then you can choose one item of the menu. The waitress was horrendous, never a smile, slow, we waited 50min for our pancakes this morning. And she automatically add herself 10% propina!

Every part of the staff was so friendly! They communicated well as a group. Housekeeping did an amazing job every day. The location on the beach was beautiful and there were so many restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Absolutely a gem ! Beautiful spotless, thatched rooms and all with ocean view and private beach. Resort has own restaurant and at the helm is Martin. A man of detail. Staff from Juanita, Franco to Emi were top class. Front of house and welcome was spectacular. Our 2nd time here but not our last. Stunning

We loved our stay at Piedra Escondida! The hotel is a peaceful, secluded gem with beautiful ocean views. The management at the hotel and restaurant were always helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Nayeli and and Juanita for helping to make our trip such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We'll be back!

We had the best time during our stay. The property is absolutely beautiful, with direct beach access that made the experience even more special. The surroundings are stunning, and everything was so well maintained. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Nayyali and Martin, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The service was truly amazing. The food was delicious with great variety, and every meal was a pleasure. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Like everything in Tulum this place is pretty pricey. The staff are great, the rooms are nothing fancy and the drinks are very expensive -- $20+ CAD for a Margarita is just weird. Location is terrific right by the ocean but be sure to focus meal budget in town where the meals are far more reasonable than along this strip. Best to have access to a car as there isn't much to do here besides enjoy the beautiful views and take in the beach air.

We loved our stay at the boutique hotel Piedra Escondida. The hotel is simple and nostalgic, almost a step back in time. The staff are super friendly and the included a la carte breakfast is wonderful. We felt very welcome and safe here.

This beautiful property is right on the water in the northern Tulum beach area. Convenient to coffee shops and restaurants, bike rentals to explore the area - the ruins and main Tulum beach area just south of here. The manager was amazing and so professional. Top notch experience.

If opening up your door and being right on the beach is your thing, than you’ll love this place. The room was spotless and our one meal at the restaurant was superb. The sole drawback was the constant winds. The ocean was just too choppy to ever enjoy a swim.

I loved this place. I stayed here before going to a retreat and it was exactly what I needed. I stayed in the superior double room. I had a view of the ocean & steps from the ocean. There is a small private beach but because of the seaweed wasn’t swimmable. There’s access to a public beach a short walk away and I swam there . The food was amazing , the breakfast was included and there were many options for breakfast. If you’re looking for quiet this place is it. I went to sleep with the sound of the ocean which was very relaxing. The Staff was always friendly and helpful, Nayeli was lovely and always very helpful. Will definitely return!

The entire staff was fantastic. Genuinely friendly & helpful. Location & service can’t by beat - on the beach, lovely setting & view, not crowded or loud, comfortable, yummy adjoining restaurant plus dining & shopping walkable. Only drawback was no pool & the beach had a lot of seaweed, but one staff worked tirelessly to remove it & a common problem for all of the Yucatán. Without being asked, they made my daughter’s 16th birthday extra special! Would return in a heartbeat.

We loved this place. Beautiful views, quaint, and staff very attentive. Can’t wait to come back!!!
