If you are looking for the Best Western - this isn’t it. If you are looking for a clean, safe, inexpensive place to sleep for a night, this works. Don’t be deterred by the appearance of the main building. It is old, appears run down, and is pretty quintessential small town rural Canada. I had doubts when I arrived but it all turned out just fine! The front desk staff was very friendly and easy-going, our rooms were very basic but clean, and there was lots of parking. I was concerned it might be rowdy because there is a bar attached to the main building and it was Saturday night but it was very quiet. We were in the new building behind the main building - I can’t speak to what rooms in the main (much older) building are like. All in all, it was a perfectly fine place to sleep for one night on our multi day road trip.

If you want the Hilton pay for the Hilton. This place did it's job and gave us a clean comfy bed with a quiet nights rest. Front desk guy was super quick with check in. Nightly rate was in my budget!

The room could have been cleaner and it was very damp. The water smelled bad so we didn’t drink it. There were no additional amenities such as a hair dryer, but although the towels were threadbare, they were all provided

Room was great, clean and newly renovated. Had a coffee maker and microwave and a/c. There is a local pub attached to the hotel that serves food and a resturant a couple blocks away.

Clean & bed was all we needed.

When I saw the hotel and then area it was in I decided to skip it. When I booked the room it was marked non-refundable now I know why. I read the reviews but I definitely will use more caution for my next stay.

Older motel, which looked pretty rugged from the outside, but the room was clean & comfortable. The attached restsurant/bar was great & had some interesting characters. Beautiful view of the lake from our room.

When I pulled up outside this hotel I thought it looked pretty sketchy. It's an old building. However, inside, the room was very nice, very clean and had a state-of-the-art heat pump for air conditioning. The staff was extremely helpful when I had trouble getting the Wi-fi to work, which worked very well once it was set up on my computer.

Second time staying and excellent. At a quiet place near the end of town away from the highway, clean room, good beds, fridge, microwave and hotplate, and steps away from the lake. Reception was friendly and helpful, and attached to a bar/restaurant that's open late. A few people were up late partying but room was quiet enough that no trouble sleeping. Will be back when staying in Wawa.
