I always enjoy staying at the Stonefence. They are upgrading the pool area so that wasn't available to swim in, but the beautiful river was! I hope that opening the restaurant will work out for them (they were doing a "soft opening" during the stay). I loved my lunch out on the patio, reading my book and seeing the river.

Everything was good..they advertised a continental breakfast , no pans of food were out but they cooked to order promptly instead and food was good. Our room was a little dated and had uncomfortable beds but service was great air worked good all was clean amd looked as if our area just hadnt gotten the updates yet as the resort looked like allmother buildings had just been remodeled. Would definitely stay there again..also kod friendly tennis courts, shuffle board, playground bounce house...pool was under construction but looked like it will be awesome.

Nice place on the St. Lawrence River. Great water views from you room/deck. The air conditioner is old so it takes some time to cool down the room.

Great little place to spend time with family.

Beautiful views of the St. Lawrence river. The original building is dated, but the rooms are spacious, quaint and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Unlike a lot of hotels these days, there is also actual maid service. I was surprised that someone actually made the bed during my 2 night stay.

Booked a room on the river months in advance & at ck in was informed I had townhouse! Not on river and steep stairs. I am handicapped & fell on stairs. Had to sleep on rollout couch for remainder of visit. Decor is very antiquated . One plus the lady running restaurant was a great asset & breakfast was great!

What a super staff. Very helpful and friendly take really good care of you. This place is so peaceful and quiet. I stayed an extra day just to rest up. It was great. I stay here again just sitting on the porch watching the boats go by was wonderful.

Excellent Communication and service

The room was fine, but I didn’t realize the pool was under re-construction when I made my reservation. Room was clean and comfortable, but on the second day found the tv sound was set to Spanish language and I didn’t find a way to change it to English.

They have bug problems when I stayed for 6 nights . But the breakfast was outstanding every morning. I would recommend it to everyone to stay

Loved this place. Great place and the breakfast was delicious! Staff was very accommodating!

Stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. We loved this place everybody was so nice, the breakfast was great. My son loved the beach and kyacks they had out to use for free! Cool playground too! We were a little bummed that the pool was closed bit they say it will open back up with a lazy river! We will be back again!

We liked being next to the river!

Easy check in and we drove our boat from our slip in Morristown to their docks. Had a slip ready for us, it was nice. Convenient, had dinner at TI Club at 615, and made it back at dusk. Nice day on the River! I would surely stay here again for date night. Awesome breakfast in the am to order, cook and staff were personable and very nice. Great location as well.

Beautiful property and friendly staff. Very accommodating. Was not happy that the pool was closed for renovations but the property offered other things to do.
