We couldn’t have loved this property more. Keep in mind, it is a 16th century Bastide, so it will never be a glitzy modern hotel. The furnishings are basic but the rooms are spacious. It feels like you are staying in an old country inn. Only drawback, you may have to carry your bags up a steep and narrow staircase—we had two flights to climb, and it was a bit of a workout—doable for us but maybe not for everyone. In the garden there are patio tables and chairs arranged around an old courtyard fountain. When we were there in summer, the vegetation was a bit overgrown, which only added to the ambiance. Flowers spilled over and luscious fruit hung from the trees. It smelled like fresh cut grass and roses. To get to the hilltop village, you climb up a small private path that looks down into the neighbors’ properties and you see chickens, and vegetable and flower gardens. The village is enchanting! Finally, the manager is delightful! Her English is not too good, but she did her best to help with any request. We definitely felt welcome and had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would certainly come again!

Hidden away on a tiny back street just below the cliffside main town, this is the place to get away from it all and yet be within walking distance of all the lovely shops!

Super friendly, patient, helpful staff. Helped us organize our day trip to the Lake Saint Croix, boat rentals, etc. Rooms are spacious, bright, clean, quiet, comfortable. Bathrooms are beautifully tiled, fine grove fixtures, large tubs. Breakfast is delicious. Will come back. Just wonderful.

We had a wonderful couple nights here. The family that run it are so nice. The gentleman spent time talking to me and skiing! It was so nice and authentic.

Ruhige Lage und fußläufig zur Innenstadt.

Loved staying at this property. It has very few rooms so you will feel as if you have the entire property to yourself. The breakfast was made fresh and it was a great spread. It has a beautiful courtyard. The distance to the town center is 10 mins walk and there is a walkway from behind the hotel and goes up and meets the main road.

This hotel has the feel of an old French inn with beautiful tiled spaces in the rooms and landscaped backyard where we had delicious breakfast. The host family was friendly and helpful. The 5 minute walk up the hill on a country path to the village - definitely not handicap accessible! - had magnificent views with each turn.

O hotel é charmoso e bem localizado. Atendimento cordial. O tamanho do quarto e do banheiro são ótimos. O quarto possuía um bela vista para o jardim onde é servido o café da manhã. Gostamos muito. O que não gostamos: o fato do ar condicionado só ventilar, não esfriava, o que em pleno verão europeu deixou o quarto meio quente. Além disso, a luz do ar condicionado não desligava e ainda piscava sem parar. Não percebemos de dia, só quando fomos dormir e já era muito tarde. O quarto ficou iluminado e piscando a noite inteira. Foi um grande inconveniente para nós, que estávamos bastante cansados e só queríamos ter uma boa noite de sono. O nosso quarto era o Saturno.

Nice place to stay when visiting Moustiers Sainte Marie. Location was excellent. We just walked up the small roads from the BNB to visit the town. Breakfast was very good. We only stayed one night but it was an enjoyable stay.

A terrific historic building with large rooms and wonderful service. Helene, the host, is phenomenal. Her breakfasts and dinners are superb. This hotel is a real gem.

Great proximity to MSM

日本でいえばペンションの感じです。 施設も少々老朽化が感じられます。 ただ、街中まで徒歩10分、車を止めやすいので、レンタカー移動にはぴったりです。

Hôtel de charme très agréable. Le personnel est très accueillant et à votre écoute. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortable, le petit déjeuner copieux. Point très agréable, l’hôtel nous a contacté en milieu de journée avec le menu du soir pour nous proposer de dîner sur place. Nous reviendrons

La proprietaire actuelle relance l´hotel de ses parents qui semble avoir été un peu délaissé Il y a des investissements de confort a réaliser Mais le lieu est magnifique, le village execptionnel, enfi nous avons passe un agreablesejour, malgre labsen e du restaurant annoncé, dommage. Theobald

Unfortunately we only stayed for one night. The property is absolutely beautiful and nestled very close to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. We were able to walk from La Bastide to town in just a few minutes. The room was very comfortable and quiet and the entire property was very peaceful with fountains right outside our window. It's a very beautiful place and looking forward to hopefully returning as soon as possible!
