A lovely stay in the best part of Lincoln. Next door views of the cathedral out the bedroom window. Fantastic breakfast waited on attentively. Would definitely stay again.

A very old hotel with all mid cons. Super staff even when very busy. Food in Antlers Restaurant good and service likewise.

Great place to stay in the heart of old Lincoln

Lovely setting between the Castle and the Cathedral. The food was excellent as was the service from all the staff.

My favourate place to stay in Lincoln, location is fantastic, staff very helpful, room great, bed so very comfy and room spacious. As we are in middle of heatwave, I was delighted to find a fan in the room, very much appreciated. Breakfast is superb, so much choice and great value

Everything was up to standard, though it was very hot in the room, air con or a fan would have helped.

Pleasant stay

The White Hart, situated right next door to the cathedral, has been beautifully restored and has luxurious rooms with generously sized classic furniture and style. Spotlessly clean. Excellent and personal customer service. Our room directly overlooked the cathedral - the view was amazing - and was large and well equipped with a large, squishy sofa, fridge and DAB radio. Elemis toiletries were included in the large ensuite bathroom, as well as a full-size bath, with two overheard showers. Hotel parking is available very nearby at an additional charge, and there is a small lift in the hotel to transport luggage to upper floors, or for wheelchair use. The bar is well stocked and the three areas are very comfortable - we ate our meals in the bar as we had the dog with us. The dog was made very welcome by all staff. Cooked breakfast was a little slow in the mornings as most of the guests ate in the Antler Restaurant, but worth the wait as quality was superb. Location is perfect for the cathedral, castle and top of the hill shops. The main town centre shops are a walk down a steep hill. We loved the White Hart and Lincoln and look forward to visiting again soon, hopefully to the same room with the cathedral view.

Great hotel, great location, great facilities (including their own carpark). The staff were excellent and extremely helpful and our room was more like a suite, with 2 pairs of veranda doors. My only slight disappointment was the breakfast. I had a full English and I’d obviously been cooked 15 minutes previously and kept under hot plate. Everything was slightly crisp and dry but that is a very small complaint compared to the overall quality of this hotel. And, don’t forget to check out the “Tank Room”; its really interesting.

Friendly staff, beautiful room, great position in Lincoln. The bar and cocktails were fab, breakfast was very good.

Seeing the refurbishment start around three years ago and the planned graphics we wanted to try this on return visits to the city. The finished article when we stayed last week exceeded our expectations - Brilliant. Tastefully decorated and furnished in all areas Rooms - the house keeping very good. Staff Friendly , professional and always helpful going above and beyond with their good service. Breakfast?........Make sure your hungry for the full English but if not so there is a comprehensive selection of Pastries ,Cereals and Toast complimented with fruits spreads and juices etc. Parking is available in a dedicated customer facility just a short walk from the main building. In busy times of the seasons it would be advisable to book at the time of reserving your room. Overall the White Hart is excellent value for money and a thoroughly enjoyable experience in the most perfect location being less than a five minute stroll from the Cathedral , Castle and Steep hill. Do we plan to return...........Most definately.

Great location, lovely buildings

This hotel is in an historic part of Lincoln. Despite its age it is in excellent condition with lovely large well equipped rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is parking in an area on the other side of the road to the hotel. The restaurant provides a cooked to order breakfast which was very good. We had dinner on both nights of our stay which we very much enjoyed.

Never been to Lincoln so overall loved the place. A mixture of modern and boutique shops and cafe/bars and the hotel was the icing on the cake. Lovely scenery literally next to the cathedral. Clean and friendly from the moment we arrived. Room was huge and tasteful as well as clean airy. Was quite noisy on the evening as were on the main road but didn’t stop us sleeping in the massive comfy bed. Elemis products to use was a fabulous wow factors and then breakfast…what can I say, delicious! We went out elsewhere to eat but came and sat in the bar and it was a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back…thank you White Hart

Room was spacious and the bathroom was equally big! Everything was clean and. Well presented. Due to being old however the room was very warm. Stay still very enjoyable and being next to the cathedral and the castle was a definite bonus.

Excellent location close to cathedral and castle. Clean and comfortable.
