Nice and cozy. Good location and quiet place.

Since we were travelling with kids we had written to the property in Hotels.com to request connecting rooms as we were told we could, never got an answer and did not get connecting rooms. Réception said they never got the message. This hotel is dated, one room was spacious, the other one was small. No AC during heat wave, just some small fans. We had to open windows during the night but had to smell the smoking and hear the talking from downstairs. TV not working after attempt to change the remote and get instructions to turn it on.

The hotel was cheap, and you get what you pay for. Perfectly fine if you are on a budget, or like us just needing a place to stay overnight. One concern was that at check in and at breakfast we (both male) were asked if we were sure we were sharing a room. I would have hoped that by 2026 this kind of reception to a same sex couple wouldn't exist. But maybe Kenilworth isn't that enlightened...

The shower was only lukewarm and that was after finding it was cold early in the morning and the manager trying to fix it

Comparatively cheap, and correspondingly basic - for instance, no lift - this wasn't a problem for me but some would find it difficult to get to the single rooms tucked away in a corner of the second floor.

Staff were lovely, unfortunately the hotel seems poorly maintained and I spent half the night awake due to the person in the next room constantly slamming their door and running up and down the stairs. Walls are very thin.

The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was helpful. No elevator so I hope you don't have a heavy luggage with you since you have to carry it to the first or second floor via quite narrow and steep stairs. The breakfast was a bit poor. No tomatoes, cucumber, cold cuts or cheese to put on a bread. I would have liked porridge, but that wasn't on the menu. Omelet was ok. I only got a few hours sleep during the nights, since all the noice from the street came through the windows.

Lovely, clean spacious room. Delicious food in Raffles restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. Good value for money.

Unfortunately, the room did not appear to be properly maintained or thoroughly cleaned. There were numerous stains and marks on both the floors and walls, which negatively affected the overall impression of cleanliness. While the bed linens and towels were clean and fresh, the condition of the room itself did not meet the standard I expected. I hope greater attention will be given to housekeeping and maintenance in the future.

Could hear lots of movements from Other parts of hotel when trying to sleep and again early morning voices for first two nights. Got a different room for last night much better. Had breakfast one morning and was disappointed to be told at 8.30 chef not available. When suggested refund the manager went and cooked breakfast. Not great to good quality. Did not have breakfast again. Ps; toast was cold.

Hotel was well situated and staff very pleasant. The main issue was that our shower was not working at all with no water flowing, should have been checked upon cleaning the room

The room was clean and the location of the hotel was perfect. We could walk about a mile to visit Kenilworth Castle. This Castle is a hidden gem. Well worth your time to see this. The hotel is about 20 minutes rom both Warwick castle and Stratford upon Avon. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good. We stayed 2 nights here.

Following some very negative recent reviews i didn't have high hopes for my stay. In fact its perfectly OK for a night or two. You wouldn't fancy it for your honeymoon, but to be honest the room was a good size with a comfy bed, the breakfast was acceptable and the parking is free. Its incredibly good value for money compared to the usual chain motels, and it does what it says on the tin.

The rooms aren't prefect, but the room had heating, beds are comfortable, shower was great and the large tub was good for a soak. Offering breakfast at a reasonable rate, and two types of restaurants downstairs, we had the Malaysian restaurant, which the food we could not fault. It was so yummy.

The room was small, but was clean and tidy, and had all the advertised amenities. The staff were more than helpful - I had to leave each morning by 07:15, but breakfast was advertised as 07:30 onwards...the manager arranged for the kitchen to open @ 06:30, just for me, so I could have a cooked breakfast before departure each day! How good is that? The breakfast was piping hot, and swiftly served - the evening meals were also hot, tasty and rapidly served. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to everyone.

Very friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. 24hr reception was great too. Shower hot, no issues.
