Clean and safe and the best.

Rooms were clean, great staff, secure parking and food that makes you want to come back for more.

The Inn is out of the way and very clean. I would have enjoyed my stay more if I was told they were building a pool deck every morning promptly at 730am. I was NOT informed at check in. Via email or from the property owners. The saws and hammering started before quite hours of 8am were over. I realize this is temporary, however not belong informed this would be happening was EXTREMELY frustrating. We were unable to sleep in any day, which was extremely frustrating for the teenager with me. Did I mention it was DIRECTLY outside of our room???? Staff in restaurant was pleasant. Office staff seemed like they didn’t really want to check us in. Food was ok and reasonably priced. Would I go back? Absolutely not. You lost us at the bandsaw.

Everything was good

Beds/ pillows comfortable. No fridge in room. Parking in front of room. Constructing a pool. Food in restaurant was good. Everything is new condition. Gates are closed at night for added security with a guard. Would stay here again. No problems.

I have to give Devon and the other restaurant and bar staff 5 stars, they went above and beyond. However, reception is another story. Receptionist was rarely at the desk, and unfortunately for the bar tender he was left with taking over a job he was not familiar with. Another issue I found very irritating was that there was not a coffee maker in the room.

The room wasnicely decorated, very clean, and comfortable. The parking lot was gated at night, so felt more secure. We gad a delicious breakfast in the beautiful restaurant.

We enjoyed our stay at Toucan Inn. The room was clean and spacious. The AC worked great and there was plenty of hot water! The only thing that would have been perfect would’ve been having a hair dryer and a mini-fridge in the room. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant. I do think they would benefit from more staffing because it took quite a while to bring the food.

The rooms were updated and clean. There was a desk and chair which was convenient. The bathroom door opened inward which made space to walk around the toilet, awkward. The vanity mirror in the sink area, didn't have a light. We arrived around supper time & was informed the restaurant was having a private event so would not be available to us. It was a holiday weekend & many other places were closed in the village. The next morning, we were going to have breakfast but they were very understaffed & still hadn't gotten our food after almost 2 hours of waiting. The restaurant was quite busy with only 1 server and 1 cook. I had a meeting so had to leave without getting my order. Outside the lack of food options and staff shortage, the rooms and beds were fine, the grounds were well taken care of, the parking felt secure. Hope they can find more people to staff the restaurant. I did hear the food was good once you got it.

We have stayed at Toucan several times and enjoy all their services. The food from the restaurant is excellent.

Upscale from the other properties in the area and provided a lovely short stay.

This place is super new or super newly renovated. It seems to be one of the first of its kind in this particular town. There is a fence around the property, but we didn’t see any particular need for it, aside from making guests feel secure and a little more away from the local sounds and sights. The neighborhood seemed laid back and not touristy. The bar-restaurant is SO cute. The food was excellent. I had the steak. My friend had the conch ceviche. Both were excellent. I also had the enormous dessert in a tall glass. There was fruit and jello and whipped goodness and it was huge. Caroline, the lady who was working the bar and dining room, was easily the highlight of this restaurant experience. She was so much fun and easy to talk to. She said the place hasn’t been open long. It would be in the owner’s best interest to keep her happy; she was an absolute delight. This place was a fantastic last minute find. The rooms are SO clean and sparkling new feeling. We actually wondered if we were the first guests in that particular room (we didn’t ask). Go here! Stay here! Eat here too!
