Very quiet and clean. Check in not available after 11pm.

This is a great deal for the price with clean white beds and a safe and quiet place.

Great room for the money. I really liked that it has a private balcony.

Nice for the price. Only downfall was they didn't have someone onsite after hrs if you needed anything and you couldnt use the elevator after hrs.

Was exactly what I needed, just being honest town for a race. This is definitely a, "don't judge a book.." as the external condition of the building is a bit run down. The lobby, hallway to the room, and room itself were nicely furnished and finished.

Very upset! Booked the room on here only to drive close to 4 hours and learn as I went to check in our room was auto cancelled because we were not informed check ins after 11 pm are by appointment only. We only received a confirmation email showing the total cost. Never received a cancellation email and 12 hours later now that the hotel desk should be open we have not received an apologetic phone call or email. This is bad business! We chose this hotel..booked it and planned this to be our middle ground headed home from 7.5 hours away and because it was so late there wasn’t a vacancy within 130 miles so we risked it and drove through the night as it’s not worth paying for a $200 room at 5 am to check out in a couple of hours.

The room was clean and well kept. Pricing was reasonable. The outside of the building could use some curb appeal.

This is an old property & not maintained well. I won’t recommend to anyone.

We're so happy we found the Tesla MedBed Center/hotel in East Dubuque. It was a wonderful stay! We hadn't heard of this hotel before, but I accidentally stumbled upon it on Expedia. We were looking for a place to stay last minute, and we didn't want to spend an incredible amount of money. I called the hotel to make sure we could stay there in just a "regular" hotel room, without the biohealing/energy treatment. The lady who answered the phone was so kind and thorough as she explained about their place and how it offered two kinds of stays: energy rooms and just plain rooms. The cost of the room was so very reasonable, and it included a free breakfast. My husband is picky about cleanliness, and our room was probably the cleanest hotel room we've ever stayed in! It was modern, clean, comfortable, and quiet. We loved the new bed and modern bedding - very comfy! I read reviews about the water possible looking rusty, but we never saw a hint of it. The bathroom accommodations were excellent! The woman, who was on site when we arrived (and when we left), was very genuine and truly cared that we were happy with our stay. She was very detailed in explaining all the hotel accommodations, including how to enter/exit after hours and when to access the free breakfast. She asked us repeatedly if we had any questions and told us she wanted to be sure we enjoyed our stay. The customer service here, from start to finish, shows much professionalism and much care. I truly recommend this place!

Quirky hotel. Room was clean and comfortable with microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast was minimal. Staff was friendly. Location is great for Dubuque and okay for Galena. Oddly, we were told that the facility was full but there were never many cars in the lot First floor rooms are apparently reserved for those getting the therapeutic benefits of some sort of energy device!?

Everything in the room was very clean and the temperature was very comfortable when we arrived. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the towels that we had to use were a bit rough..not very soft. Otherwise our stay was quiet and comfortable.

Everything was new nice neat and clean. First through my head, the AC didn't work. But the second, worked great. Friendly staff and quick to help.

I booked twice, first booking got cancel due to some reason but no notification to us that it is cancelled assuming we booked we drop in the hotel. 2nd I booked immediately as my hubby acct was hacked. but Cary informed me she would cancel 2nd booking as well and insisted that I take a higher-range room, which I was not prepared for. First book got cancel I found this quite surprising, 2nd booking was more surprising as I booked then n thereespecially given Tesla’s high ratings. In my experience traveling to many places, when a confirmed room cannot be provided, most properties either offer an upgrade (reasonable) or at least make an effort to honor the original booking. Unfortunately, Cary was quite adamant and unaccommodating. On the other hand, the junior staff were much more welcoming and helpful, which I appreciated. This wasn’t the experience I expected based on the reviews, and I hope this feedback is taken constructively. Finally when god knows what is best for you I got a suite room in holiday inn and that was mesmerizing.

I must say, we really enjoyed our stay in East Dubuque. We only saw a couple of other guests. It was very quiet and clean. It is an older hotel in need of some TLC on the outside. They need to write some checks for some landscaping service and some carpentry repairs. Then the place would look more appealing from outside.

Ease of room entrance

Check in was fast and easy. That, however is the only time I interacted with staff. The lobby is only staffed 9a-11p on weekends, so when we checked out, there was no one at the desk. Consequently, the free grab and go breakfast wasn't available. Room was clean, if a touch small. Beds are very firm and sit on a pedestal that can be an issue for knees in the middle of the night. I chose not to spend the extra $200 for a night of "healing energy" but I did read their propaganda/literature. The method by which this "energy" is generated is never explicitly stated, just that you too can take it home and not have to plug the source in. Probably wouldn't stay again, just because of the mattresses.
