Lack of a person at checkin and no bag room made this hotel inconvenient

Google Maps wouldn’t show the properties exact location so we were a little concerned if we could find the building easily. However, the location is only 2 minutes walk from Marketplaz tram stop. Check-in was 3pm but we received a message around 2pm to advise that the accommodation was ready. Access was easy with the supplied codes. The laundry room on the 5th floor is operated by WeWash and was really useful . Clean accommodation, well located and quiet building. If you need a real person to speak with, someone is currently available for a couple of hours in the morning then again late afternoon/early evening. We would certainly use again.

The location is amazing, right in the centre of Basel and close to everything. My only issue was that the air conditioning didn't work. The first night, I could understand why the room was hot because of the weather, but afterwards the temperatures outside were much cooler and the room was still uncomfortably warm. If a comfortable room temperature is important to you, I would avoid staying here.

The place, rooms were big, clean and in a decent location. The picture on hotels.com website is NOT the hotel. The hotel cannot be accessed by Uber. They are not allowed on the street. My mistake was not realizing it was a non person property. So, we had to drag our luggage around to a place to store for the day. Says it has air conditioning. Big lie. We had two rooms. The temperature was in the high 80’s. We could not get the units to work in either room. And there was no one to help. It made a very miserable 3 nights. Be careful of the bathtub. Very slick and very tall. Short people (myself) had trouble getting in and out. However, the shower head works great.

The check-in was a nightmare, and there was no place to store my luggage. Bounce has a luggage storage service, but when I tried to open my reservation at the OTHER hotel six blocks away, it would not open and the people at Hotel D were beyond rude.

Nice clean fresh rooms. Great shopping and walking area. Felt very safe. Couldn’t plug in coffee pot … needed an adapter maybe? The picture shows the building next door which is beautiful but our building was a little more modern.

Location is great. Facility is clean and fresh.

I really loved the ease of being sent the details and not needing to check in at a front desk.

Ich kann dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert, besonders der Online-Check-in war unkompliziert und sehr praktisch. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, sodass ich mich direkt wohlgefühlt habe. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Gerne wieder!

otel tertemizdi ve o kadar merkeziydi ki neredeyse hiç toplu taşıma kullanmadık. otelde personel yok ama gelen tüm bildirimler ve bilgiler gayet açıklayıcı ve net. rica ettiğimde basel cardı bir gün öncesinde tarafıma gönderdiler. bu da havaalanından otele gidişimiz için kolaylık sağladı. erken giriş için de olumlu yaklaştılar. ama hem hafta içi hem de çok kalabalık olmayan bir dönem olduğu için tüm taleplerime yardımcı şekilde yaklaştılar. çokça memnun kaldık ve diğer rotalar için de mutlaka kullanmayı düşüünüyoruz.
