Friendly reception, easy check in. They don’t use fitted sheets so it felt like the sheets were not staying on properly. Otherwise great little hotel

Room adequate but only one chair. Very little space to place kit in the bathroom. Staff very helpful.

Friendly welcome, comfortable room, and good breakfast. Dinner is a 29 minute walk away, but with a 20% discount, well worth the effort.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, courteous and professional. Asked if we'd been to the city before and gave us directions and places to eat.The room was clean and warm when we arrived. Would definitely consider staying again as it was only a 15min walk into the city centre.

Room was in need of an update in terms of decor and furnishings. It was adequate for a good nights rest.

I enjoyed my stay there … the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant (for breakfast) were brilliant; breakfast was excellent … topped by the hotel being a five minute walk to the Beacon Parkrun start/finish spot! Brilliant.

The breakfast wasn’t free, had to pay , also had to pay for parking.

The staff at this hotel are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They really make the place. The fabric of the building is getting a little tired. Housekeeping of the rooms is not done daily which I was ok with but it meant the tea tray was not refilled regularly nor the cups changed.

Tidy older hotel. Night stand was very dusty, so I’m not sure when our room as used last. Shower was fantastic, warning for the hot water should not be ignored! This was a convenient walk into town.
