Lovely property, clean and spacious. Food amazing and staff super friendly. Will be staying here again.

I have stayed at the pub before and always found the staff to be friendly. I was staying for 3 nights on business, the room I was allocated was a double, the bed took up most of the tiny room . A luggage rack was provided but it was impossible to use as there was nowhere for it to go. After the first night I asked if I could be moved but was told it wasn't possible. I have to say I was very disappointed and probably won't consider staying there again . I also don't understand why I was charged different prices for the same room on consecutive nights.

Lady at breakfast made the stay exceptional. Wonderfully friendly, interesting and informative. Great breakfast. What wasn't great was the noise travel from what sounded like macerator flushing from rooms above or nearby, and no bottles of water left in the room.

So enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Red Lion in Adderbury. My family and I basically had most rooms for a wedding which was being held at the local Bo Peep Farm. The food was absolutely delicious! Breakfast was possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. The rooms were clean and showers were great! Beds a little hard but it understand that these mattress have to be firm to last. Kirsty and Dan did so much to make us all welcome and nothing was ever a problem for them. They even stored the wedding cake for us! I would definitely recommend staying here. My only suggestion would be….some biscuits in the room to have with a cuppa would be recommended ;). Thanks everyone at the Red Lion

It’s an old building so it was a small well designed space. It was Warm Clean and en-suite Stairs are a winding! Very polite and nice people Exceptional Breakfast! We’d would return Nice Vibe

Our stay or rather nights sleep was ruined by all night road works being carried out outside our window. And banging of doors when two men left the hotel at 4.30am when I’d just got off to sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was lovely. The tea tray is a little mean as I’ve mentioned before on our first stay.

I stay here regularly for business. It’s the best pub locally, with good food, both evening meals and breakfast at a reasonable price within the Banbury area

Excellent location

We absolutely loved our stay - the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of options. We enjoyed all the food we ate there, great variety on the menu and fresh tasting food. We booked to stay here during the British Grand Prix and thought it was excellent value for money. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and seem recently renovated. Our room was up lots of stairs - this wasn’t a problem for us but worth considering your luggage. Highly recommend!

Absolute gem! Beautiful location, 500 year old olde world vibe, excellent food, comfortable bed and friendly staff.

Clean and tidy. Service slow. Low beams due to type of property. Shower ok not best pressure. Food quality good. Bed hard. Could hesr a lot of noice from neighbouring rooms esp kids running about

Wonderful bar food with friendly staff. Quiet bedroom with its own heater but otherwise not too hot everywhere which so often happens in hotels.

Easy to find and has plenty of parking spaces. Room was small but perfect for one person. The bar was nice and had a great roaring fire which was great in the evenings where you can enjoy a nice meal.
